Méribel – hotels in the ski resort of France

The central resort of the world’s largest ski area, Meribel, is located in the heart of the Three Valleys, making it easy to reach all other areas. Meribel is great for a skier who wants to roll enough. Outstanding connections with the other three valleys, united by a super-efficient lifting system, allow anyone to realize this dream. There are 660 km of clean trails in the Three Valleys, and Meribel itself is about a quarter.

The name of the resort Meribel comes from the Latin “Mira Bella”, which means a beautiful view. The ski resort really offers something special for the keen skier. the village of Meribel was specially built for athletes in the late 30s of the last century under the leadership of Christian Durupt. The views of that part of the alpine landscape that open from the village are simply stunning. Another advantage of the village is that all the best places to stay in Meri Bel are close to the ski slopes.

Off the track, Méribel offers a lot to those who do not ski. Note the periodic toboggan run set up down the slope for beginners in La Troite from Mottar. And in the Olympic Sports Center there is a swimming pool and a stadium for skating.
