The five-star hotel has focused on personalized service, with butler services for each guest and a variety of activities that encourage communication between guests.

Check-in begins in the chic open-air lobby, which is furnished with modern white furniture. There are no queues for registration, only three counters for servicing seats. Guests will be offered a cocktail, a butler will be introduced and escorted around the hotel grounds while the porter delivers the bags to the room.

The layout of the hotel is unusual. The lobby, lobby bar and main pool form the central section, and on the east and west sides there are blocks of rooms, each block is equipped with a swimming pool.

The rooms are painted in bright Caribbean tones, and the exterior design is inspired by the fishing huts of Varadero. The buildings are located along the beach line, but since the resort is surrounded by a natural park, the trees block the view of the ocean.

Almost all hotels in Varadero are located along the Autopista Sur, which runs along the peninsula and parallel to the beach. Royalton Hicacos Varadero is a 10-minute drive from the city centre. In Varadero, guests can visit the craft market, bars, restaurants and clubs (popular bar The Beatles, Calle 62 and Salsa Suarez).

All 404 rooms, except three, are semi-suites. They have separate living rooms and bedrooms with double beds, 25 rooms with two single beds. Each room is designed for two guests, only the presidential suite can accommodate four people.

  • Bathrooms are decent size, with separate bathtubs and showers, but no bidet. All rooms have balconies or terraces with views of the pool or trees. The free minibar with beer, soft drinks and water is replenished daily. Pool towels, sun loungers and parasols are provided.
  • Meals on the system “Buffet” is divided into thematic islands: Italian cuisine, seafood, meat, desserts, grill, etc. Each guest has the opportunity to make a menu in accordance with their preferences.
  • The lobby bar is open around the clock, as is the bistro at the end of a row of shops, so guests can have a snack late in the evening. Nearby there is a pancake shop and an ice cream parlor.
  • The 37 butlers will fulfill any request, from organizing special baths for the newlyweds to booking à la carte meals at the restaurant.

The beach at the Royalton Hotel is phenomenal. A strip of sand 600 meters long, lined with sun loungers and equipped with beach bars, where guests can enjoy drinks. Outdoor enthusiasts can take part in volleyball competitions. The water is turquoise and the temperature is refreshing but not cold. The hotel has three swimming pools, but most guests gather at the main one, where there is a bar and a large waterfall. It hosts water aerobics and a noisy weekly foam party.

Be Live Experience Turquesa is located in Varadero, an area that is considered one of the most beautiful in Cuba. The resort’s signature turquoise colour begins behind the front desk, can be seen in the wide columns of the lobby and in the vaulted ceilings. Tiffany-style lamps with a pattern of leaves and berries and exposed brick walls give the room a decorative charm. Behind the lobby begins the area with paved paths, buildings and bungalows for guests.

The beach can be reached through a shady alley that overlooks a wide sandy beach. Near the hotel there is a dolphinarium, an oceanarium and a sea show. It is a six-minute drive from Varadero, with attractions such as the local craft market, the Beatles Bar and various restaurants. Havana is a two-hour drive away, and José Martí International Airport is two hours and 15 minutes away by car.

Rooms are decorated in peach and pale yellow tones, furnished with dark wood furniture. Leaf-patterned bedspreads and turquoise curtains add contrast. Memories Varadero is located on the 18th kilometer of Autopista Sur, the main road on the Varadero Peninsula, which runs parallel to the beach. The oldest resorts are usually located closer to the city center, and the new ones are further away. Memories, built in 2007, is one of the new options. Markets, bars, restaurants and clubs in the city centre are about a 20-minute drive away.

Rooms at the Memories are set in several three-storey buildings around a large swimming pool. the rooms are clean, equipped with a balcony or terrace. The tiled bathrooms have bathtubs with showers.

All rooms are equipped with one double or twin beds. It offers family suites consisting of two interconnecting standard rooms.

The main attractions of Memories are a magnificent white sand beach and a beach bar, two large swimming pools and the best children’s entertainment programs. The infrastructure is represented by a children’s club, a gym with treadmills, bicycles and other simulators. It features an outdoor spa pavilion with massages and indoor treatment rooms. There are two saunas and a hot tub.

Meals can be chosen from five options: Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Mediterranean and Cuban cuisine. A romantic lobster dinner can be booked at an additional cost.




Hotel Roc Presidente

Hotel Roc Presidente is a five-minute walk from the Malecon, the famous Seaside Promenade, in the Vedado area. This area is considered the modern heart of Havana. This is quite convenient both for tourists hoping to visit Old Havana, and for business travelers with work in Vedado or neighboring Miramar.

The rooms are decorated in a 1928 style with red blankets, antique wooden furniture and tiled floors. It offers great views of the ocean or the city. Categories include double, triple rooms and two suites with a living room and balcony.

The hotel has a small outdoor pool, a restaurant with a buffet system. A staircase from the second floor allows guests to head to the pool directly from their room and avoid walking around the lobby in a bathing suit. There is a solarium upstairs. Roc Arenas Doradas Hotel

Roc Arenas Doradas is located on 12 kilometres of Autopista Sur, about a 10-minute drive from varadero city centre. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus in the city centre four times a day.

Hotel Memories Miramar in Havana

The hotel is located in the residential area of Miramar, where many foreign embassies are located. A five-minute walk away is Iglesia de Jesus de Miramar, the National Aquarium, the Circus, the Malecón and Old Havana.

Rooms at the Memories Miramar have a cheerful Caribbean range of mustard, yellow and blue colors, with attractive interior details. Rooms on executive floors are stylish and minimalist, with modern beds and bedding and comfortable furnishings. Standard rooms are located from the first to the third floor, and executive rooms and suites are located on the fourth and fifth floors.

Wi-Fi is available on the executive floors and access to the lounge with stunning ocean views, where an exclusive complimentary breakfast is served. About half of the rooms show the ocean, while the others overlook the pool.

Memories Miramar features a huge outdoor pool. It is multi-tiered, with a sloping shallow area for children and a bar in the center. On the territory there is a volleyball court, sun loungers and gazebos. The infrastructure is represented by a fitness center, six tennis courts, squash courts.

El Patio Restaurant offers an à la carte menu for lunch and dinner and serves international and Creole cuisine. There is also a snack bar and a lobby bar.



Paradisus Princesa Del Mar Resort & Spa

Paradisus Princesa del Mar is for adults only and cannot accommodate children under 18 years of age.

Located on the Varadero Peninsula, this beachfront hotel is surrounded by magnificent white sand beaches, a small marina, a pharmacy, a supermarket and several eateries. The main town of the peninsula is a 20-minute drive away. There, travelers can find a wide selection of restaurants, a market and several nightclubs.

Decorated in neutral colours, the rooms feature dark wood furniture, sand walls, burgundy bedspreads and purple runners to create a classic Cuban interior. Small sofas with a folding back provide an abundance of places to relax, and tables with swivel legs – working surfaces. The walls are decorated with works of art. All rooms have balconies or terraces with outdoor furniture. It offers views of either the pool or the beach. The bathrooms, lined with brown marble tiles, have all the amenities, a hairdryer, a magnifying mirror and a large set of individual cosmetic accessories.

In the center of the resort is the main free-form pool, surrounded by sun loungers and hammocks. Pedestrian bridges and lush vegetation add to the attractiveness of the pool. Drinks can be enjoyed at the poolside bar. Two other pools with bars are located next to the rooms.

Another place for a sunny holiday is a stretch of white sand beach, which is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. The safety of guests is monitored by rescuers.

  • There are seven on-site restaurants serving a wide range of dishes from Cuban to French and Japanese cuisine. Room service is included in the price of living on the system “All inclusive” and is carried out around the clock. There is also a cigar bar on site, and it is the only covered area (other than smoking rooms) where guests can smoke.
  • The resort has a stage where a variety of shows are held, as well as dance lessons.
  • Volleyball and tennis courts are available on site. Sports equipment can be rented on site. The fitness center, located in a separate building by the pool, is equipped with treadmills, exercise bikes, weight lifting machines.
