Winter holidays in Egypt: Grand Azur Hotel

I visited the Premier Royal Grand Azur Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh with a friend and her eight-year-old son. A friend’s husband had an unforeseen situation at work, but the child was so eagerly looking forward to a trip to Egypt for the winter holidays that they decided not to endure it, and I entered the game as a reserve player. It is clear that an unexpected holiday in a premium hotel on the sea under the gentle rays of the sun, while in his hometown wet snow nasty stuck to the windows of the car, could not but like. But the staff of the hotel, and its arrangement, and a large number and variety of services have made a huge contribution to the daily feeling of happiness and awareness that there are paradise places on earth.

From the very first minutes we were captivated by the fact that a full bed was put in the room for the child. It would seem a trifle, but it disposed us both to the staff and in general to a carefree holiday.

Location and infrastructure

Grand Azur is a brand new hotel, the construction of its first building was completed in 2009. Maybe that’s why the hotel has the only drawback I discovered – the lack of trees and large shrubs. But flower beds amaze with diversity and magnificence. However, when we wanted to be in the shade, we went to one of the four outdoor pools, near which we rested on sunbeds under umbrellas.

Pools and beaches

A friend’s son especially loved the heated pool. And we let him splash in the warm water as much as his soul wanted. The sea is a stone’s throw from the Grand Azur Hotel. Rather, it was located on the shore. But we do not know how to swim with a mask, diving and snorkeling are also not our choice, so we went to the sea only after lunch, when the sun was kind and affectionate.

Entertainment and services

We were pleasantly surprised by the modern SPA center in Grand Azur: pleasant relaxing procedures, massages, wraps. And yet, without leaving the hotel, we bought some gold jewelry in jewelry shops located on the territory of Grand Azura. Italian, Indian, Mediterranean, Chinese restaurants and four bars, not counting the main restaurant, in which every day we were waiting for a buffet – we were quite enough of this amount to diversify the menu and watch exciting evening shows.

The animation team tried so that our boy for a long time after returning tried to arrange competitions at home, quizzes, in which he took part in the hotel. And about the children’s disco, which takes place daily after dinner, dad listened to a few months after our return.
