History and location
Hotel Drita was built in 1997 in a quiet region of Alanya called Mahmutlar. The last reconstruction was carried out in 2011. Due to the distance from Antalya airport (about 140 km), this area is in less demand among tourists, so the cost of living here is lower than in closer areas. Even along the shore you can see many houses and greenhouses in which various vegetables are grown, as well as orchards.
From Alanya from here to get only 14 kilometers, so if in this quiet corner you seem boring, you can always visit the city and enjoy its entertainment, explore interesting sights or go shopping.
The area of Drita is not too large and is 6000 m2. It is located on the second line, there is a private beach located across the road, which is very busy. It is a highway connecting Alanya and the nearby town of Gazíplaza. So that tourists do not expose themselves to unnecessary danger, an underground passage is made here, which is recommended to be used by vacationers. There are few other hotel complexes around, so from the windows that do not overlook the sea, an overview of greenhouses, gardens opens, in the distance there are residential buildings, and even further – mountains overgrown with shrubs.
Inga, Perm: “The territory, of course, is very small. Although there is a lot of empty land around, hotels are not crowded as well as somewhere in Antalya. In front of the road and behind it there is a little greenery, but mostly lawn and palm trees, it would be nice to plant more flowers. The road to the sea is pleasant, you pass through the transition and somehow it is not even noticed that this is the second line. It is convenient to go, you can at least barefoot, if it were not so hot.
We took the room with windows to the mountains. Although we were offered to move for money. But so, in my opinion, quieter than when they go out on the road, and the landscape is quite beautiful – mountains, bushes, some building at the top, in the evening the lights light up. All in all, a nice area. Prices here are lower and not only for vouchers, but also in the markets nearby. We often walked there, well, and bought, of course, all sorts of souvenirs, teas, natural soap, etc. In general, it is not bad here, it’s a pity only to go far. ”

The Drita Hotel has 199 rooms in a 7-storey building. Most of them are standard, with an area of 25 m2. You can choose apartments with two single beds, one double or one double and one single bed. There are 5 family and 5 superior family rooms of 35 m2 with increased soundproofing, equipped with two single beds and one double bed. When ordering, you can immediately choose which view from the window you prefer.
The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay – bathroom with bath or shower, TV, air conditioning, balcony, wardrobe, table, paid safe. Towels, toiletries, detergents are available.
Marina, Ufa: “Very clean and cozy. Obviously the building is not very new, but the furniture is like nothing, bedspreads and curtains are clean, not worn, not leaky. True, at first they settled in a room with a view of the sea, but the third floor, nothing is particularly visible and noisy. In addition, from mattresses some smell of dampness and shouldiness. My husband asked, and we were given another room for free (as originally they took – with windows to the mountains). I liked it more – the furniture is new, there are no smells. The shower cabin is closed, the water does not spread on the floor.
One drawback is that the stairs are spiral, uncomfortable, and the elevator was somehow often occupied. The air conditioner suddenly stopped working several times, and then again just as unexpectedly started. At the reception we were told that, it turns out, he has some kind of mode of operation depending on the air temperature. It’s weird because it’s always been hot. Cleaning was done every day – change of linen, towels, shampoos new. In general, the service is very decent, although those who got our first number were probably dissatisfied. ”
Infrastructure
The property has a rounded outdoor pool with a fenced off area for children’s swimming and a water slide, as well as an indoor pool with a heated children’s section for vacationers in the cool season.
There are restaurants in the building and under the canopy, three bars (in the lobby, by the pool and on the beach), SPA-center, medical office (opening hours are appointed by the administration), a shopping center.
On the territory there is also a barbecue area, a sun terrace, places for table tennis, darts, volleyball, a children’s playground, a games room. Animation is carried out in all languages in turn. We played volleyball, darts, bochu. Evening shows are so-so, remembered if only fireshaw. But we did not go to the disco, this can be done at home, but then we tried to sleep and go for a walk to the sea early.
Around is very beautiful, although, in fact, there is nothing special to look at. True, we went to Alanya in the evening for a walk, and once more to the beach of Cleopatra, but here we liked it more. Cleanliness is observed very carefully and not only in the rooms. Wash the area by the pool, even the playground. By the way, it seems to me that it is not very, and in general for children there is not so much interesting as in other hotels. Clearly more focused on adult tourists.
It is also somewhat unpleasant that the wi-fi in the lobby works so badly that it was necessary to come early in the morning and write to relatives before breakfast, while there are still few connections. I’m not talking about any calls on the Internet. It’s an important flaw, but the good moments still outweighed all the negativity.”
Food
In Drita Hotel there is an all-inclusive diet, which is valid until 23:00. Local drinks are served free of charge.

Food was always enough. For midnighters there is a nutty soup. The children liked that by the sea you can eat well – potatoes, hamburger, gisleme cakes, in other hotels I have not met this. Fruits are ripe, diverse. At lunch, they gave bottled water that you can take with you. Coffee juices can be taken at any time.
There are few places in the restaurant, sometimes you have to wait. And it is best to come not immediately to the beginning, but in 40 minutes. By this time, just the first food is dismantled and taken out all the new, and there is no such crowding. One Day a Turkish night was held and everyone was taken out a huge ice cream cake and treated everyone. I don’t like Turkish ice cream, but it was still very nice. And you can go and buy nearby in the shop very tasty fruits for little money. ”
Sea and beach
The beach is 50 m from the hotel. The transition to it is carried out underground. Nearby there is a small square with a fountain, outdoor simulators, benches.
The territory for bathing is extensive, pebble-sandy, in some places there are stone slabs. Free sun beds and umbrellas are available. The beach bar offers beer, juices, coffee, sparkling water, burgers, flatbreads, french fries and other snacks during the day. For the convenience of entering the water there is a pier. Many sunbeds, umbrellas, mattresses, everything is provided free of charge. There is also a place to play beach volleyball, classes are conducted by animators. Here you can also rent sports equipment for water sports.
Larisa, Ekaterinburg: “What’s in this 5* hotel is the beach. The water is very comfortable temperature, pebbles are small, you can walk without shoes. There are stone slabs, but not everywhere. There is enough space, you can always find a convenient approach. There are plenty of sunbeds, everyone never occupies. I did not like the umbrellas, some unkempt, dragged, the size is small. Hopefully they’ll be updated soon.
Of course, it’s great that you can eat well without returning to the hotel. My husband generally had breakfast only here, because he got up later than ten. We didn’t see any animation on the shore, but the people from our hotel were playing volleyball on their own. By the way, near this site lives a turtle, which we from time to time tried to feed.
The road to the beach is pleasant, although you go under the road through the transition, there are squares around, green plantings, everything is beautiful and well-groomed. In general, it is pleasant to walk here, admire the opening landscape. There are not as many people as in other places.
It’s nice that the staff is trying to please. Of course, there are many drawbacks, but I prefer not to pay attention to it. Especially when you go into this beautiful warm water on the hot sand you want to forget about all the troubles. Once on the sea there was a strong excitement and we went to the beach of Cleopatra. There is free admission, but paid sunbeds. The sand is very nice, white, and there were no waves. But we can’t say that the entry there is so much better than near our hotel. “
Drita Hotel 5* is an ideal place for those who like a relaxing holiday and prefer to spend a lot of time at sea. There are all conditions for this – convenient entry, clean water, good food and comfortable rooms. The disadvantage of the hotel is its remoteness from the airport – the road takes at least 3 hours. Perhaps this is the reason that children come here less often.
The difference between Drita and most hotels in this price category is accommodation in a quiet agricultural one.
