The Tyrolean municipality of Seefeld is part of the district of Innsbruck. As a ski center, the area has long been chosen by both athletes and wealthy sports fans. Resort infrastructure
Seefeld inherited a rich legacy after the 1976 Olympics in Innsbruck. Today it is the most fashionable resort in Austria. The hotels offer an extended range of spa and wellness services. A large amusement park for children is organized. Throughout the territory there are bowling clubs, golf clubs, indoor tennis courts, an ice rink, an indoor swimming pool, a cinema, a large entertainment center. Leisure activities include horse riding, curling, squash, paragliding, discos and casinos.
Seefeld’s ski slopes are likely to disappoint extreme sports enthusiasts. They are relatively gentle and belong to the blue, green and red level of difficulty. The slopes are served by 25 lifts and a cable car. There is a lot of snow, sunny days too. Just in case, snow generators are installed on the tracks. Some hotels give their guests cards for preferential travel and use of Olympic facilities. In addition to skiing, you can ride a sled on a 3-kilometer descent and on car tires along the former Olympic bobsleigh trough. The resort has schools for the training of novice skiers, skaters and curling players.
Where to stay?
Seefeld hotels are located in the natural area at the foot of the slopes and in the city itself. Ski buses run between them and the ski facilities. From the center it is easiest to get to the sights of the district.
Das Kaltschmid – Familotel Tirol
This Alpine-style hotel is located in seefeld’s pedestrian area, 200 metres from the train station. The complex offers classic hotel rooms and apartments. The place is appreciated by couples with children. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, and the children’s lunch menu is served in the children’s club. The large spa is divided into two zones – adult and for younger guests. The spa club treats children to cakes and ice cream. For them there are two swimming pools – a paddling pool and with slides. Adult visitors use the services of a sauna, steam room, swimming pool and hot tub. In the evening, 2 discos, a billiard room, a hall with table tennis, a modern training complex are opened. The restaurant hosts evenings with “live” music.

The 4-star hotel is located in the heart of Seefeld. It offers a sauna, solarium, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor children’s playgrounds. A modern gym is equipped. The luxury hotel is half a kilometrist from the Gschwandtkopf ski lift. This classic Tyrolean guest house is located in Seefeld. The number of rooms consists of double and family rooms,ordinary and romantic apartments. The complex guarantees a calm and measured rest for adults. There is only one and double roomsin the fund. They vary in the level of comfort and cost of living. Half-board consists of breakfast and dinner is available. In the afternoon, a Buffet snack table is served. The hotel specialises in wellness treatments. Spa facilities include saunas, steam baths, jacuzzis, indoor and outdoor pools. A special program is being developed for guests, including hiking and snowshoeing, cycling and skiing, Nordic walking, sleigh rides, aerobics. Dance and entertainment evenings are held weekly. The Seefeld Golf Academy is 300 metres away. Public transport goes to the lifts.

Krumers Alpin – Your Mountain Oasis
The 4-star superior hotel is 150 metres from the cable car and the Rosshütte ski lift. Recently, the owners have renovated the spa center, which occupies an area of 3300 sq. m. On the territory of the hotel there are saunas, laconium, aromatic steam bath, steam room with alpine herbs, tepidarium with hot stones, ice room with an ice fountain, 2 solariums, a gym, cosmetic and massage rooms. It offers half board (30-40 euros), parking with electric vehicle charging station, ski storage with dryer, library, sun terrace in the winter garden.

Appartementhaus Am Gschwandtkopf
The apartment complex is located 20 metres from the Gschwandtkopf ski lift. Each room has its own balcony. Hotels in Seefeld try to include breakfast in the price. At Appartementhaus Am Gschwandtkopf meals are prepared upon reservation and paid separately. According to the same principle, fresh pastries are delivered. The kitchens of the apartments are fully equipped with the necessary appliances and utensils. The city centre is 700 metres away and a bus stop is 100 metres from the entrance.
