Location and history
The hotel is located near the archaeological site – excavations of the ancient Greek city of Chersonesos. The object is under the protection of the state and the international organization UNESCO. According to the rules for the preservation of the cultural heritage of the world, traffic is restricted in such areas. The nearest bus stop is a 10-minute leisurely walk to the hotel. But it will pass through the alleys framed by relic plants.
“Sand Bay” is still the only resort complex in the Crimea, which received the prestigious Blue Flag for the cleanliness of the beach and water. Here you can safely swim and sunbathe. Transport routes and industrial enterprises are far away. Private car parking is available on site. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to/from Simferopol Airport (100 km) for a fee.

To accommodate guests built 4 comfortable hotel buildings. Each of them is equipped with rooms of different comfort levels. Each building is named after a hero of ancient Greek myths. The rooms are equipped with bathrooms, bottled water, mini-refrigerator, tea station, internal telephone for communication with the reception desk. Split systems are available in every room. The doors are closed with electronic locks. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, including the beach area.
Important! Pets are also not allowed in the hotel.
The Antey building offers conditions of a 3-star level of comfort. In 20 meters there is a main restaurant where breakfast is served, a SPA area, a children’s playroom. Swimming pools and the beach are 150 metres away. The building has 4 floors, there is no elevator. Six rooms on the 1st floor do not have balconies. The rest have their own large balconies. There are 45 rooms in thefund:
- Standard (17 sq. m.) is an inexpensive double room. An extra bed is not provided. There is a double bed, a traditional set of furniture.
- Improved standard (24 sq. m) is designed for occupancy of 2-4 people. It may well accommodate a family with two children. Extra beds are provided on a sofa bed.
- Improved two-room standard (25 sq. m.). All rooms of this category with balconies, even located on the 1st floor. Comfortable accommodation for 3 people is possible. In a large room there is a double bed, in a small room – a single bed. A good option for parents with an adult child.
The poseidon building is located 30 meters from the sea. It offers rooms with a 4-star level of comfort. In the fund of the two-storey building there are 16 rooms for the most demanding guests. For the design and creation of comfort used the best textiles and finishing materials. It offers prepared:
- Standard single (16 sq. m.). a single bed is comfortable. There is a wardrobe, a desk. The caring staff prepared an umbrella for the guest in case of rain.
- Standard double (20 sq. m) is designed to accommodate 2 people, but in three rooms of this category there are sofa beds that can serve as an extra bed.
- Superior two-room suite (30 sq. m.) is able to accommodate a company or family of up to 6 people. The rooms are not passable, there is a cozy sofa for rest, a desk for work.
- Junior suite (25 sq. m)) with a double bed and a sofa bed. The room can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. Instead of a shower cabin, a bath with a watering can be installed. 2 rooms of this category are located on the 1st floor, so they do not have balconies.
- Suite (30 sq. m) consists of two rooms. Each has access to a private balcony. Not only the best furniture is installed here, but also the best view of the sea is provided. Soft sofas, armchairs, ergonomic shape of the bath create an atmosphere of additional comfort.
The odyssey building is located in the heart of the arboretum. It belongs to the category of comfort of business class. This is a one-storey building, designed for 18 comfortable rooms of the “Standard” series with balconies. All windows offer views of the park. Neutral shades, environmentally friendly materials are used in the decoration. This building is suitable for those who are looking for privacy and proximity to nature.
The Hermes building is a new building built in 2019. All requests of vacationers are provided here. First, direct access to the sea is only 50 meters. Secondly, there are rooms for people with disabilities. Thirdly, some rooms are decorated with panoramic windows. The owners took into account the wishes of guests who dream of enjoying the view of the sea without any restrictions. The number of rooms includes:
- Standard (19 sq. m) with single beds-transformers. Rooms have a private entrance. The bathroom has a shower. There is a mirror with a magnifier. On the balcony there are 2 chairs and a table. An extra bed is not provided.
- Superior standard (20 sq. m) with sofa bed and double bed.
- Superior two-room suite (25 sq. m.) is designed to accommodate 4 people.

Meals are organized by the main restaurant “Sand Bay”. It is divided into two dining areas. One serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for guests who have purchased a guesthouse. The other part serves guests on the menu. The rooms are decorated with panoramic windows. They offer sea views. There is an open terrace from which you can see Chersonesos. The menu offers dishes of Russian and European cuisine. The wine list presents the products of the Crimean wine cellars. The bar card offers a large selection of cocktails and soft drinks.

The private beach stretches for 150 meters along the coastline. It is awarded the Blue Flag for the purity of the water and territory. The surface is pebbly. On the shore there are sun loungers, umbrellas, wooden paths, shower cabins with fresh water and a modern toilet. A rescue station is nearby. Hotel staff provide vacationers with beach towels, recreational services.
Pay attention! It is recommended to take beach shoes with you to the beach so as not to injure your feet on the sharp edges of the pebbles.
