I stayed here for three nights in July 2021 and the experience was not what I expected. I’ll start with the advantages: the first and important thing for me is the availability of a parking space. There are two of them: one right in front of the entrance, the second on the side. Of the pros, I also note the patio: a great place if you want privacy. Now for the cons. I arrived at lunchtime and couldn’t have lunch at a local bar. Either I was not accepted personally, or it is impossible in principle, but the fact remains. The breakfast menu isn’t the best for me either, and the two-omelet portion didn’t look very appetizing. Next, I want to note the distance from the coast – not close. If you are walking, I advise you to go to the right, albeit a little longer, but the slope of the road is not so steep. The interior of the room is monotonous (the color of the walls), although it seems that everything here is for living.

On the territory of the hotel “Monsoon” guests can not only relax in one of the bars and have a barbecue, there is also a lot of entertainment:
An exciting game of table tennis diversifies the leisure of guests. The ping-pong table is located on a specially equipped platform. There is all the necessary equipment for the game.

Beach & Pool
The beach is 500 metres away. The path to the sea passes through numerous cafes and shops, as well as through the area of the famous Seaside Park. The beach is covered with pebbles, it is better to take rubber shoes, walking barefoot is not very pleasant. But the entrance to the sea is wonderful for swimming with children – sandy, gentle. All services in the form of sunbeds and umbrellas for a fee.
You can also cool off in the large pool of the original form with fresh water. On a warm evening, it is pleasant to swim in it or sit on sun loungers – fountains around the bright southern greenery add freshness, it is cozy here, like in a country house. The pool is open for swimming from 8:00 to 22:00.
Nice hotel with its own green courtyard, swimming pool and a great location on the shores of Yalta. We stayed in a suite, there is a huge balcony. Everything was fine in the room, however, there is not enough space and the bed is not double, but two single beds put together – at night you fall into a crack. Breakfast was not liked, cooked tasteless, the waitress is clearly tired of all the guests. But they make great coffee. I believe that the hotel “Monsoon” is more suitable for travel than for a long vacation.
Where to go?
- Church of the Ascension of Christ the Savior. It is not only an important attraction of the peninsula, but is also considered one of the business cards of Yalta. The church building was built in 1897 in the Byzantine style on the private donations of philanthropist Ekaterina Zakharovna Pleshcheeva. The temple is located between the houses, and it is not so easy to find it, except for the Sunday bells that ring throughout the district.
