It is no secret that Gaspra is one of the most expensive resorts of the Southern coast of Crimea. Here is the main attraction of the peninsula – the castle Swallow’s Nest. Location and history
The hotel was founded in 1980 and renovated in 2017. It consists of two majestic snow-white buildings, several additional buildings, a huge swimming pool – and all this is designed in the same style with an oriental bias. No more than 1000 guests can live here at a time. Recently, guests are offered service on the system “All inclusive”, which makes their stay more comfortable.
The hotel has thought out not only the food system. Since the beach is relatively far away, a transfer via its own cable car is organized. In “Marat” created an excellent medical center with diagnostic and procedural departments. Thus, the traditions of caring for those who come on vacation are preserved here. the resort is not only the sea, the beach and the mountains. This is primarily the restoration and recovery of the body after the labor period.
The hotel accepts guests with dogs. Accommodation with cats is not provided. There are several rules that pet owners should take into account;
- the weight of the dog should not exceed 3 kg,
- owners settle in rooms designed for living with animals (the choice is not great),
- pets can not appear in the dining room, near the pool, on the beach;
- accommodation is paid.
The animal must have a veterinary passport, its own dishes, litter, leash, muzzle, carrying box.

To accommodate guests, two high-rise buildings and a detached villa “Chair” are offered. In total, there are 400 rooms of different comfort levels in the fund. Elevators are installed in the buildings. Each room has air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, during the reconstruction was replaced by all the furniture with new modern models. - “Comfort” (19 sq. m) – a double room with the possibility of installing an extra bed in the form of a euro-folding bed, in some rooms there are luggage cabinets, a bathroom with a shower, a total of 82 rooms;
- Junior Suite “Comfort” (37 sq. m) – two-room suites on 4-6 and 8-10 floors. Both rooms are passable, connected only by an arched ceiling. As two additional seats, a sofa is used in the living room. Bathroom with bathtub. There are 6 rooms of this category;
- Suite (43 sq. m) – two-room suites on the 9th floor, there are only 8 of them. The living room has a kitchenette area with a tea station in addition to the fridge. Bathroom with shower, there are two additional places on the sofa in the living room;
- Family Suite (70 sq. m.) – one two-room suite on the 10th floor. There is a kitchenette with a microwave, kettle and kitchenware. Two bathrooms with baths, one has a washing machine. Extra beds are provided on two sofas.
- Family suite (90 sq. m)- one three-room suite on the 10th floor with one bathroom (bath with a shower-watering can). There is a kitchenette with a microwave, an electric kettle and kitchenware. Three extra beds on the sofas.
Ten-storey building No. 2 is equipped with an elevator and is designed for 207 rooms. This building houses a medical center. To accommodate guests, rooms of the following categories of comfort are provided:
- double standard (20 sq. m) – two single or one bunk beds, a bathroom with a bath, an extra bed on the euro folding bed, you can live with animals;
- double comfort (19 sq. m) – 21 rooms on the 7th floor, bath, as an additional place is installed euro-folding;
- Junior Suite (44 sq. m) – two-room suites on floors 2-5, bathroom with shower, additional 2 places on the sofa, you can stay with animals on request;
- Suite (44 sq. m) – 4 two-room suites on floors 2-5 with a bathroom and two extra beds on a sofa, accommodation with animals on request;
- Junior Suite “Sea” (44 sq. m) – 4 rooms on floors 6-10, bathroom with bath, can be with animals on request;
- suite “Sea” (43 sq. m) – 6 two-room suites on floors 6-10, bath, you can with animals.
Villa “Chain” – a detached six-storey building offers superior rooms “4 stars”:
- Junior Suite (17-23 sq. m)- 9 single rooms designed to accommodate 2 people without extra beds, bath, electric kettle with utensils, own electronic safe.
- Suite (30-40 sq. m) – 15 single rooms, a bathroom with a bath and bidet, two additional beds are provided on sofas. Some rooms have a kitchenette with a microwave.
- Suite “Premier” (75 sq. m. – one two-room suite, equipped with a kitchenette with a microwave. The circular terrace features summer furniture and sun loungers. Two extra beds on the sofa.
In the villa guests are provided with bathrobes, slippers, a set of cosmetics. The building has a shared view terrace. On the ground floor there is a reception, an indoor heated swimming pool, a bath complex, a phyto-bar. There is free wi-fi access in the lobby.

Meals and restaurants
The hotel offers four catering packages:
- “all inclusive” (three meals a day, intermediate stations in the pool bar from 10.00 to 20.00);
- half board (breakfast + dinner);
- breakfast only;
- without meals.
The dining room is located in a separate building and is designed to receive 700 guests at the same time. Here the Swedish line is covered. Tables are designed for 4 people. The room is air-conditioned and has access to a common terrace. For those living in superior rooms there is a VIP room. It is located on the 1st floor of building number 1. There are tables for guests staying in junior suites, suites and villas “Chiir”.
There is a poolside bar for 150 people. There is an intermediate power station for guests who have bought an all-inclusive package. The assortment includes light snacks, desserts, ice cream, beer and soft drinks. The lobby bar is located on the 1st floor of building No. 1. This is a place for lovers of quality tea and coffee. Behind the bar you can order snacks, sandwiches, desserts, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Beaches & Pools
In the hotel complex “Marat” there are two swimming pools. One of them is covered and is located on the 1st floor of the villa “Chiir”. His visit is paid. The water is heated to a comfortable temperature, there is a hot tub and a countercurrent. It is located in the SPA area next to the bath and sauna. The second pool is located outside. It works only in the summer season. The depth increases gradually, so children can swim in it. A water slide is installed for them. Around the perimeter there are sun loungers, umbrellas, a bar.
A picturesque alley leads to the beach through the ancient park “Chiir”. The descent down will take about 10 minutes, it will take longer to climb. There is a cable car from the hotel, which facilitates the journey in both directions. The service is free of charge. The beach is pebbly, so it is recommended to buy shoes for swimming.
