The Kronplatz ski area offers 32 modern lifts and 116 km of pistes, including 5 black ones, which is not available in every resort. The holiday facilities are located in Brunico, an Italian commune and in the village of Riscon. The city has preserved ancient churches, castles, for example, Castel Lamberto. Brunico has many restaurants, cafes and sports centers.
Hotels provide comfortable rooms, spa areas and make it possible to quickly reach Mount Kronplatz. The road to the slope begins at the door of the apartment. The top of the Plan de Corones is suitable for skiing and snowboarding. In summer, you can walk in the valley or ride bikes.

K1 Mountain Chalet – Luxury Apartements is 300m from Kronplatz. Brunico is 2.9 km from the complex. There are lifts and a ski slope at the door. The Hipfelban cable car hid 2 km from the building. Supermarkets are 1 km away and local markets are about 3 km away.
Buns from the local bakery with homemade jam for breakfast
In the morning, the hotel organizes a buffet. Visitors are treated to fresh pastries, ham, local berries jam and hearty sausage and cheese. If desired and for an additional fee, breakfast will be brought to the room. Hardimitzn Steakhouse is located on site. Two cafes are waiting at 100 m. Each room has its own kitchen, wishing to dine in silence, will be able to cook dinner themselves.

A great option for a family holiday. From the room window, a mesmerizing view of Mount Kronplatz. Our apartment was equipped with 2 terraces, where you can have lunch or dinner and sunbathe. At our request we ordered and delivered dinner from the nearby Hardimitzn restaurant.

Garni Hochgruber is located a few steps from the Kronplatz I lift, 200m from the Kronplatz 2000 gondola lift. 100 m from the hotel to the Hardimitz restaurant and cafe bar. The nearest Innsbruck Kranestbitten Airport is 70 km away.

All rooms are equipped with a open balcony. Provide double, single and triple rooms.
From the balcony of our room there was a beautiful view of the slopes. The hotel stands in a quiet, quiet area. A restaurant with local cuisine is 50 metres away. In the morning, a continental breakfast is served with cupcakes, cakes, sandwiches, homemade jams, assorted meats and cheeses, yogurt and muesli of various kinds. It’s nice that we parked our car for free. Plan de Corones lifts are a short walk away.
Falkensteiner Hotel Kronplatz – Adults only
Hotel Falkensteiner Kronplatz is built in Riscon, a quiet village with direct access to The Kronplatz ski facilities. Mount Dolomiten is 200 m. To the nearest airport 120 minutes by car. The hotel has its own coffee shop, you can order drinks with cookies or chocolate (for a fee). There is a restaurant and a cafe.

We rested with my family for the New Year holidays. Most pleased with the cozy spacious rooms in the style of Scandi. The hotel is located in an area with developed infrastructure, all side by side. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets, sports centers meet guests 100-200m from their place of residence.
Garni Bachlerhof
The hotel is within walking distance (5-10 minutes) from the ski lifts. The centre of Brunico is a 5-minute drive away. The Kronplatz 2000 gondola lift runs 300 metres from the complex. 10 m to Mount Kronplatz – Talstation Umlaufbahn, 30 km to Antholzer See. Lake Pragser Wildsee is 35 km away. The nearest airport is Innsbruck Kranestitten, 70 km away.

It was a wonderful stay from the bustling city. Silence, mountain scenery and a cable car next to the hotel. The hotel is only after renovation, very clean, well equipped, with modern decor. Good breakfast, a wonderful restaurant with local cuisine is a short walk from the complex. Anytime we will come with pleasure again!
Hotel Reipertingerhof
The cozy Reipertingerhof hotel is 2 km from the Italian commune of Brunico near the resort of Kronplatz. Ski lifts start 300 metres from the complex. The nearest one is Kronplatzseilbahn. The Rienz/Ahr River is about 4 km away. And almost 30 km to Lake Pragser Wildsee. Innsbruck Cranebitten Airport is 70 km away.

It’s a nice quiet place. Breakfast is a dream! All the staff, from the cleaning lady to the bosses, are always helpful and pleasant. The cozy restaurant hosts themed evenings.

The park is 0.3 km from the Plan de Corones cable car. The historic centre of Brunico is almost 5 km away. The Hipfelban ski lift is 2.7 km away.
Gastronomic delight and culinary tour of the cuisine of South Tyrol
The hotel is famous for its fine dining. Guests will just have a fabulous dinner, much better than in other ski resorts. Guests are offered the following dishes:
- pancakes stuffed with mountain cheese, pumpkin cream;
- venison ham with blue cheese sauce;
- lentil cream soup with puff sesame biscuits.
In addition to the dinner, guests will be given the opportunity to get acquainted with rare wines from different regions of Italy.
It is good to stay at the end of the day. After skiing, it is very nice to bask in the sauna and hammam, relax in the pool with different types of water massage, which perfectly relaxes the muscles. To the slopes, the hotel staff offer a shuttle service, 2 minutes’ drive away and you’re at the foot of the mountain.
B&B Boutique Apartment Oberwiesen
The spacious Hotel bed-breakfast is waiting for the night in Riscon (Brusniko commune), a quiet, quiet area of Italy. The gondola lifts are 700 metres from the complex. The centre of Brunico is an 8-minute drive away.
Guests take skiing and guided walks around the resort. On the property, guests prepare their own barbecues, the accessories will be provided by the staff for a fee.
Lived in the hotel at the beginning of winter with his parents. Very convenient location. A 7-minute walk and a tourist on a ski slope. I would like to celebrate a great breakfast with a wide range of dishes, freshly squeezed juice and delicious coffee. After a day of skiing, it was nice to relax in the sauna of the complex. It’s a nice spa.
Hotel Petrus
Hotel Petrus (4 stars) is a 5-minute drive from Brunico Railway Station. The Kronplatz I ski lift is 700m from the building. The nearest airport is An hour’s drive away from the nearest Innsbruck Airport. The transfer is paid for additionally. A rich recreation program has been prepared in the complex. What to do at the hotel:
- Aerobics;
- Bask in a Turkish bath;
- to go down the slope on skis;
- Play on the court in the yard of the complex;
- Fish;
- riding.
There are two swimming pools on site: open and indoor. They work all year round. In the rain and high winds, guests can spend time in the spa.
Every guest will find entertainment here. My wife and I rode our bikes heartily. In the evenings it was nice to relax outdoors by the pool. Due to the current limitations during the pandemic, the owners came up with a great idea for breakfast – the buffet.
The Kronplatz Hotels is the perfect place to relax and recover. Guests are offered a lot of entertainment inside the complex and outside the building. The slopes of the resort are suitable for beginner skiers and professional athletes.
