Guest House Versailles is located in the resort village of Arkhipo-Osipovka near the Central Beach. This cosy mini-hotel is suitable for both active recreation and for a relaxing holiday with children. The village is located in the suburbs of Gelendzhik between the rivers Teshebs and Ulan. The mild maritime climate and convenient location makes this place attractive for tourists all year round. Location and history
The building was built in 2016. The hotel is managed by a married couple, which, judging by the reviews of the guests, treats each guest with great attention and respect. “Versailles” is located in the central district of the village, in Mikhailovsky Lane. The hotel offers easy access to the beach and major attractions. Within walking distance are the stadium and the historical and ethnographic museum. In their free time, guests can stroll to the local supermarket or go for lunch at the waterfront café. Next to the hotel there is a guest parking with video surveillance; in the yard ˗ garage for cars of guests.
Attention! The reception is open around the clock. For an additional fee, you can book a transfer to the airport or Gelendzhik. The hotel is ready to assist in the selection and purchase of tickets for local excursions and events.

Guests of the hotel can stay in the following rooms:
- One-room double room with a large bed, TV, refrigerator and wardrobe. The balcony offers wonderful mountain views.
- Triple room with two beds: double and single. If necessary, you can put a cot or playpen. The view depends on the location of the room. Guests can admire the mountains or panoramic views of the sea and the village.
- Quadruple one-room suite with a French balcony is also equipped with two beds. It is possible to put an extra bed.
- Quadruple two-room suite with a balcony. It offers a comfortable split system, a double bed, a sofa bed, a wardrobe. The room has a private bathroom.
Note! Rooms on the top floor do not have balconies. This disadvantage is compensated by large dormer windows overlooking the sea.

Meals and restaurants
Meals are not included in the price, but can be arranged upon arrival. On the ground floor of the hotel there is a dining room where set breakfasts and lunches are served. Food is prepared with local produce. The menu is updated every week. The hotel also has a shared summer kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. There is a stove, microwave, kettle and all necessary utensils. Barbecue facilities can be taken at reception.
There are several cafés and restaurants nearby. Very popular are canteens with set meals at affordable prices. We recommend paying attention to the following establishments:
- Cafe “Scheherazade” specializes in Chinese, Japanese and Uzbek cuisine. The menu includes meat and fish dishes, a large number of fresh vegetables and fruits. In the morning, breakfast with fresh pastries is served here. Food can be takenath. Free delivery to the hotel is also available.
- Cafe “Lapis Lazuli” is located on the ground floor of the hotel of the same name. Here they cook pizza, sushi, dishes on the grill. You can supplement the meal with craft beer of local production.
- Closer to the Central beach is the dining room “Gluttony”, which is open until late in the evening. One of the most popular places in the village. Affordable prices and a wide range speak for themselves. At lunchtime, there is a queue at the dining room, but quick service will not make you wait too long. By the way, here you can take takeath food.
- Dining room “Arkhipka” is located near the bus station. Russian cuisine is prepared here. Special attention should be paid to pancakes with various fillings. Since the dining room is located some distance from the beach, there are always few people here. But judging by the reviews of visitors, the food here is very tasty.
Beaches & Pools
The mini-hotel does not have a private pool. Thanks to its convenient location, guests can easily reach several local beaches in minutes.
Central Beach
It stretches for 800 m in the central part of the village. Its territory is conditionally divided between sanatoriums and rest homes. The western part, for example, is in the possession of the sanatorium “Arkhipo-Osipovka”. However, access here is free. The mentioned health resort only monitors the cleanliness and order. The pebble beach is equipped with changing rooms, fountains for drinking, sports grounds. Along it passes Primorsky Boulevard ˗ the main entertainment street with a large number of cafes and restaurants. On the beach itself there are rental points of beach equipment, masks and fins. Here you can book a boat trip or a banana ride.
“Prokhorovsky” beach
The artificial beach is located some distance from the center. There is no developed infrastructure, but compared to the Central Beach it is not so crowded. It is adjacent to the campsite area, where you can put a tent. Parasol and sun lounger rental is available nearby. The order is monitored by the rescue team.
Note! It is better to get here by car. The car can be left in the free parking up the road or by the beach at the paid parking.
Beach “Druzhba”
This place is often called “Behind Vulan” by the villagers, and this is justified. The beach is located behind the mouth of the Oulan River. Get here in several ways. For example, across a suspension bridge. In this case, the road will take about half an hour. An alternative option is offered by local boatmen, who for a small fee will transport you to the other side in just a couple of minutes. The beach stretches for 200 meters, its width is 50 meters. The only disadvantage of this secluded place is the complete lack of infrastructure.
Recreational opportunities for children
Beach holidays are not always interesting for children, but in the resort village there are several places where you can have fun with the whole family.
Malibu Amusement Park
Located very close to the hotel complex. On its territory there are children’s attractions, a Ferris wheel, a cinema, a fear room and much more. In summer, there is a small water park with three slides and a swimming pool. Visitors to the “Malibu” can ride horses, as well as jump on trampolines.

Water park «GoodZone »
Fans of water activities are simply obliged to devote at least one day to this place. The water park is divided into several zones, each of which is designed for a certain age category.
Children’s attractions are represented by several sites. All slopes are under the supervision of rescuers. Slides are located in the water area of the children’s pool, the depth of which does not exceed 40 cm For kids there are special safe attractions in the form of animals. Teenagers can visit Pirate Island, which is a complex of four descents.
Attention! All rides are marked. Children are not allowed on adult descents if they are below 145 cm.
Oceanarium
It’s hard enough to pass by. The entrance to the building is made in the form of a huge shark, which is a symbol of the Oceanarium. The exhibition space here is divided into several halls. In large aquariums, you can see such freshwater fish as predatory piranhas and bright cichlids. Very popular among kids have rare marine life: Papuan turtles, African fish protopter and eye Indian knife. In one of the halls there is an exposition of ancient fossils, the age of which is estimated at thousands of years.
Note! For children under 5 years old admission is free. Photo and video shooting is allowed. The oceanarium is open all year round.
Activities & Attractions
Hotel Versailles does not have a swimming pool or play areas, but guests can book hiking and cycling excursions to local attractions at reception. The route, as instilled, passes through the “Mikhailovsky fortification” – a museum complex, which is a restored fortification of the Caucasian War of the XIX century. All buildings here are made of wood. On the territory of the complex there is an observation deck.
Arkhipo-Osipovka occupies a small area, but there are many unusual attractions that may interest travelers. This is the Dolphinarium, and the Museum of Cosmonautics with unique exhibits, and the Museum of Wine and Bread, located in the building of the old mill.
In the vicinity of the village there are Tesheb waterfalls, where you can come alone or with a guide. The route of the excursion passes along the ecological path through the waterfalls grotto, Cord, Devil’s Mouth and is about 5 km. The whole path is marked. Even if you decide to go for a walk on your own, the signs will help you not to lose your way. Small bridges are built across the streams, iron stairs with handrails are equipped on the rocks. The tour involves several stops. Along the route there are several picnic areas.
A 20-minute drive from the village, on the other side of the Hualan River are the ruins of the Roman Tower. It was built during the time of Emperor Nero around the 60s AD. The structure was discovered during an archaeological expedition. According to scientists, its original height reached 4 meters. The tower served as an observation point. During the excavations nearby were discovered: ceramics, metal elements of armor and weapons. Nowadays, an archaeological museum is open near the tower.
