One of the most stable and tourist favorite hotels on the whole Mediterranean coast of Turkey – “Turquoise Resort” is located not far from Side, in the resort town of Sorgun.
Location and infrastructure
Its vast area is nestled amongst centuries-old pine trees and lush vegetation. The air here is always fresh with a light pine scent, and along the numerous paths there are fancy flower gardens and ornamental shrubs. Hotel Turku az Resort (Side) consists of the main building, bungalows and villas, but everything is so well planned that it is simply impossible to get lost or end up in the background. Despite the fact that the hotel is far from new (year of construction – 1988), the quality of service and accommodation is not affected. The hotel has recently undergone a scheduled major renovation and refurbishment of the rooms: completely renovated furniture, plumbing and interior design. A standard room measures 28 m2.
Food
There are several bars and restaurants on site, including a coffee shop, a pastry shop, and Italian, Chinese, fish, and Turkish (kebab house) a la carte restaurants. Each of them offers a free dinner once per check-in. Subsequently, there will be a reservation fee of about 10 euros per person. The main restaurant is called Kervansaray and besides traditional international cuisine there are also thematic nights and gala nights: Mexican, Turkish, Asian, African, Viennese, Anatolian and others. The all-inclusive system includes almost all-day meals, as well as local and imported soft drinks and alcoholic beverages (which need to be clarified at the specific bar).
Pools
The hotel also has six swimming pools, including a main pool, an indoor pool with water park, a children’s pool and a relaxation pool. The sandy beach is 210 meters long and has two piers, 450 and 40 meters long. Sun loungers and umbrellas are always plentiful. Beach towels are available against deposit.
Advantages and disadvantages
Advantages of Turku az Resort Hotel (Side): they can be enumerated endlessly. First of all, it is a beautiful area, large and very well maintained.

Disadvantages of Hotel Turku az Resort (Side): rather, these are nuances to consider. Somewhat rocky sea entrance, small selection of meals for very young children, paid safe and freshly squeezed juices. In a word, Turku az is a true dream hotel. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway as well as a family vacation with kids. Without extra pathos and self-promotion, without museum interiors, gilded furniture and exorbitant prices, it offers a highly comfortable, cozy atmosphere and an unforgettable stay.
