Holiday Inn Pattaya is located right in the city, across the street from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and shops. Within a five-minute walk of the hotel are the Family Museum Art in Paradise with interactive exhibits, the famous drag cabaret Tiffany’s Show, the central festival beach, the red light district of Walking Street, where most of the nightclubs are also concentrated, and the Sanctuary of Truth, a striking temple complex made of solid wood.

The hotel’s 567 rooms are housed in two modern towers, each with its own spacious lobby with elaborate lamps and bright furnishings. Wood and pastel colours create a tranquil atmosphere in the spa, which has a large outdoor relaxation area with exceptional views of the coast. A free shuttle and taxis will take guests to Pattaya city centre, the Pedestrian Red Light District, shops and restaurants, and the journey takes about 10 minutes. An amusement park and water park are the same distance as Bali Hai Pier, from where ferries depart for koh Lan Island. Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) is a three-minute walk away.

Modern rooms and suites are divided into six categories, all of them have curved balconies with sea views and sun loungers or soft sofas. The white colours of the walls, bedding and canopies of the bed are accentuated by the airy silver, yellow or blue runners of the bed and the upcording.

A minibar, TV, kettle, bottled water, safe, scales and ironing facilities are standard. Superior Suites have dining rooms, dressing rooms and large terraces.

There is a lot of cement, metallic accents, neutral shades of brown, black and gray, miniature columns acting as bases for metal lamps. It offers top-notch amenities such as a minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, a TV, free Wi-Fi and an iPod docking station. In the wardrobes, guests will find safes, bathrobes and slippers. The elegant bathrooms feature attractive mosaic tiles, double sinks, magnifying mirrors, scales and toiletries. Lower rooms have a walk-in shower, while superior rooms have a shower and separate bathtub.

The luxurious family residences with bunk beds for children and a private bathroom can accommodate a large family. The second of the four hotels that are part of the Royal Cliff Hotels group with an area of 26 hectares. The rock-lined buildings border a private sandy beach with sun loungers. Modern interiors have a strong Thai influence, especially in the refined, tall lobby. Its white and orange sofas, interior trees, and fountain-decorated Buddha statue appear dwarfed by the glass and metal walls and oblong chandeliers. A stone bas-relief with mermaids adds an eclectic touch. The outdoor terraces, many of which overlook the ocean, are open-air under a canopy. Guests here have access to extensive facilities at all four Royal Cliff Properties hotels.

All suite-like rooms with sun loungers on the sea-view terrace are modestly elegant. The rooms are furnished with high-quality wooden furniture, Thai accents can be traced in the decoration of the beds and carved wood. The higher category rooms have romantic four-poster beds, sleek mosaic accents and glass bathrooms. The facilities are excellent across the board, including seating areas, desks, HDTVs with DVD players, minibars, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning and bottled water. Bathrooms offer shower/tub combinations, rain showers, and separate deep-pool or spa baths. All rooms have slippers, bathrobes, toiletries and a hairdryer, as well as daily substituted fruit and cakes. A safety deposit box and free baby cot accessories are also provided.

The Breezeo’s restaurant serves gourmet cuisine. The terraces are equipped with chic modern wicker chairs and breathtaking views. Closer to the main building is a swimming pool with a popular pool bar and a shallow children’s bathing area.

Wave Hotel

Despite the fact that the Wave Hotel was opened in 2013, it perfectly conveys the spirit of Miami of the 1940s. From the old bright pink Cadillac parked outside to the art deco aquamarine façade, the atmosphere of Miami Beach’s old historic district is detailed to the smallest detail. Inside, the theme continues – the bright and cozy lobby is full of numerous items of American memory, from old movie projectors and radios to an old-fashioned telephone and even a couple of vintage hairdressing chairs. The furniture is elegant and modern, and the atmosphere is fashionable and playful, attracting mostly couples in love.

The Wave Hotel has 18 rooms and suites, each continuing the Miami theme. The rooms are equipped with dark wood furniture, blue walls from Tiffany, old black and white photographs and art engravings. Rooms are relatively spacious and open out to small balconies with sea and sunset views. Clean and modern bathrooms are equipped with separate bathtubs and showers; matte sliding glass doors separate them from the bedroom, increasing space. Double glazing minimizes street and road noise. Room service is available around the clock.

There are only two categories of rooms – Sunset and Twilight apartments. The suites have two bedrooms and additional TVs.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and includes an a la carte menu with cooked-to-order dishes, as well as a simple buffet. The South Beach-style Cadillac Café & Bar is also open for lunch and dinner and serves American, Mexican and Thai cuisine, which can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace. The outdoor pool is quite long, equipped with hydromassage jets. The pool bar serves cocktails throughout the day and night. There are no spa or wellness centres.

 

 

Centara Grand Phratamnak

The luxurious Centara is an elegant, square building with green glass balconies. Phratamnak Hotel is located on Fra Tamnak Hill in a quiet residential area in southern Pattaya, across the street from Dongtan Beach. Within walking distance of the hotel is Pattaya Park, a family holiday with attractions and water slides.

The spacious, bright rooms are decorated with refined elegance, with lacquered wooden furniture and furnished balconies. The glamorous décor from the lobby is carried over to the rooms, expect to see brown marble floors and walls plus silver casts and plenty of polished metal fixtures in many rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned and feature a minibar and a Nespresso coffee machine, but coffee is available at an additional cost. Some rooms offer exceptional views of the bay. The suites have a microwave, a living room and children’s rooms with bunk beds. The large modern bathrooms are decorated with marble and glass mosaic tiles with toiletries. Rooms are cleaned twice a day and turndown service is provided.

The hotel’s rooftop has a long rectangular hexagonal pool and hot tub, while the pool bar serves small meals, cocktails and beer. Cenvaree Spa offers massages, scrubs and a fitness centre. A beach club with sun loungers is located across the street at Dongtan Beach.

An international breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. Meals can also be enjoyed in the Club Lounge. It offers free Wi-Fi and a local shuttle service to Central Pattaya and Central Festival Shopping Mall.

The Nova Gold Hotel Pattaya is located in a sandy quarter in the city center, close to restaurants and shops.

The modern rooms are decorated in neutral colours. It comes with a minibar and a 32-inch TV, DVD player, coffee maker and air conditioning. All rooms have furnished balconies, and most rooms have desktop computers, which can be used free of charge. The bathrooms are modern, decorated with brown floor-to-ceiling tiles. A glazed shower with rain nozzle is available. Guests at Nova Gold Pattaya are provided with toiletries.

The infrastructure is represented by a round-the-clock outdoor pool with a hydromassage bowl and a stone waterfall, a restaurant and a bar. The taiki restaurant serves international cuisine, as well as beer and cocktails. Massage treatments can be booked at the hotel, and there is also a small fitness centre. Siam@Siam Design Hotel is housed in a 25-storey glass high-rise building in central Pattaya. This is a modern, bright boutique hotel with a fresh cosmopolitan atmosphere. The high ceilings are decorated with bright exposed beams, and the reception is decorated with shiny metal.

The hotel is popular with couples, thanks to facilities for children such as a children’s pool, two themed restaurants on site and babysitting services.

268 simple rooms with a bright and playful design typical of the rest of the hotel. The décor includes colorful carpets, paintings and deciduous partitions in the rooms. The furniture is made of dark wood, bright colors are used thoughtfully, against the background of darker cobalt-blue floors. Higher categories of rooms have a seating area, while junior rooms are equipped with single beds for groups or families with children.

Standard amenities include a minibar, TV, air conditioning, electric kettle, free WI-Fi and a safe. Most rooms also have spacious balconies with hammocks and panoramic city views. The bathrooms here are grey, with rain showers and large black granite dressing tables. Bathrobes, slippers and blackout curtains are also provided.

The fitness center here is large and bright, with a series of modern exercise equipment. The rooftop pool may be too small for swimming, but it is clean and well maintained. Even more pleasing is the stunning view of Pattaya and the pool on the floor below, where guests can also enjoy cocktails by the pool. The 20-story Amari Pattaya on the northern side of Beach Road is a luxury hotel that shares amenities with its sister upper-middle-class Hotel, Amari Garden, located next door. Some simply call them the ocean wing and the garden wing. Amari Pattaya is a newer and more elegant hotel with a wide range of services that attracts both tourists and business travelers. The hotel is decorated in a modern style and the entire property is well thought out.

The hotel has 297 rooms with panoramic windows, which offer fantastic views of the ocean, pool or city. Rooms are modern, spacious and stylish, some have a furnished balcony. Standard amenities include a small seating area, work desk, wardrobes with safes, TV with DVD player, free Wi-Fi, minibar and tea/coffee making facilities. Bathrooms have small showers and separate bathtubs, some with hydromassage. All rooms have a hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers.

In addition to Pattaya Beach across the street, the hotel has three attractive swimming pools in a tropical setting. One is long enough to swim in circles, the others have a whirlpool and water slides. The elegant Breeze Spa offers massages, beauty treatments and a hairdresser.
