The second most popular Austrian ski resort is located in the municipality of Mayrhofen. The Zillertal Valley is located in Tyrol near the border with Italy. The hotels offer both Austrian and Italian cuisine. Three main zones for descents are defined:
- Ahorn – light blue level trails for beginners;
- Penken – slopes for more prepared athletes;
- Horberg (glacier) – replete with black slopes for experienced skiers and snowboarders.
The slopes are served by 58 lifts – chairlifts, rope tows and cable cars. The season lasts from December to April.

Luxury apartments with exclusive interior design are located 600 metres from the Penkenbahn Cable Car. In the open parking lot there is a car wash for bicycles and a charging station for electric vehicles. For accommodation there are comfortable apartments with bedrooms, living room and dining area with kitchen. There is no washing machine in the room. A separate room is available for laundry and dry cleaning. Services: free Wi-Fi underground parking, trendy shops on the ground floor Italian bistro on the ground floor, ski rental and ski school on the ground floor. For an additional fee: access to the spa with Finnish sauna, bio sauna, infrared cabin and relaxation area, rich breakfast buffet, half board: breakfast buffet at the hotel and dinner in a nearby hotel, taxi from Innsbruck airport or train station.

In Mayrhofen, hotels are ready to accommodate any number of guests, but not everyone can feed them. If travelers come with children, then half board can solve the problem with finding places in evening restaurants.
Hotel Garni Birkenhof
A 2-minute walk from the centre in a quieter area is a traditional Alpine village guest house. Guests are settled in two, three local and family rooms. Parking is free and there is a children’s playground in the garden. The house has a common living room, a storage room for ski uniforms, a terrace. In the morning, the hostess serves breakfast, the rest of the time guests take care of the food themselves. Nearby there is a restaurant-bar “nächstgelegenes”. A ski bus stops 80 metres from the house every 15 minutes. The cable car is 900 meters away, the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen lift is 500 m away, so it is better to use transport. The owners accept pets.

Hotel Ländenhof Superior
Half a kilometer from the cable car is a cozy Alpine hotel. Tourists are offered two, three local and family rooms,breakfast is included in the payment for accommodation. You can come with animals. There is an à la carte restaurant serving European cuisine on site. In inclement weather and leisure, guests can relax in the spa area with a shared sauna and Turkish bath. The ski lift can be reached on foot. The journey will take about 10 minutes.

To solve problems with food and rest is quite simple. Breakfast is included in the payment for accommodation, restaurants and shops are open nearby, a ski bus stop is right at the entrance, a separate room is provided for storing equipment. In your free time, you can visit the wellness center located on site, in particular the swimming pool, infrared cabin, sauna, common relaxation area. Parking is free.

The apartment has been welcoming guests since 2014. The Horbergbahn cable car station is 600 meters from the complex, to the bus stop – 100 m. Spacious studios, rooms with bedrooms are decorated in a rustic style. The interior uses local wood, vintage decorative elements. There is a private terrace near each entrance. The owner Alexander does not offer breakfasts, for guests fully equipped kitchens, provided a full set of dishes. Half a kilometer away is the restaurant Sidan, a little further there is a supermarket. Pets can be brought here, parking is free.

Not all hotels have private pools and spa areas. In the center of Mayrhofen there is a public complex with saunas, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, playgrounds for children.

The hotel complex is located in the center of the resort next to the Penkenbahn ski lift. Within walking distance is a bus stop to the Hintertux Glacier. The Ahornbahn Ski Lift is a 5-minute walk away. The owner provides one, two-bed, duplex rooms and apartments. In the morning, a buffet is served.

The property is 300 metres from the Ahornbahn Ski Lift. One-bedroom apartments, studios and duplex roomsare offered for accommodation. This is the center of the village, where within walking distance there are restaurants, shops, souvenir shops, a public indoor pool, a bus station. In summer, the owner gives guests free bikes for walking. Breakfast is not provided, all apartments are equipped with kitchen appliances.

You can consider the hotels of Mayrhofen according to the level of comfort and choose the most cozy. But for skiers, the main measure remains proximity to lifts and elevators. In this regard, the most acceptable option would be apartments Domizil Zillertal or Apart Mountain Lodge Mayrhofen.
