Hotel Grand Park Lara 5 * has long deserved positive reviews of tourists. Most note its good location, a large well-groomed area and a wide sandy beach. The work of the staff is aimed at ensuring that the stay here was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Location and territory
Grand Park Lara,opened in 2013, is located in a favorite corner of Antalya – a district called Lara. This is almost the only place that is so close to the airport (14 km), and at the same time has a beautiful sandy beach with a width of 20-30 m.
With such proximity to the center of Antalya, vacationers in Lara have access to all the advantages of living near the big city – trips to shopping, attractions, bars and discos. On the border of Lara lies the Duden National Park with picturesque waterfalls, grottoes and observation decks. Even closer, 5 km away, there is a park of sand sculptures, which is especially beautiful in the evening, when the original lighting is turned on.
At the same time, this tourist area, where several dozen hotels are concentrated, is quite quiet, surrounded by fields and orchards.
Grand Park Lara stands on the second line 200 m from the coast. The asphalted road, which can quickly reach Antalya, runs along the territory, but is fenced off from it by a covered shopping center.
Alexey, St. Petersburg: “We bought a ticket here mainly because of the proximity to Antalya. We went there twice by taxi, walked around the old town and went to the waterfalls. By the way, quite an interesting park, I recommend to go. The place here, of course, is successful, quiet. And the price tag is not so much inflated. But there is a noisy road nearby, and around the field and some vacant lots, there is not much to look at. And the hotel itself is very noisy, a lot of children, the music screams until late in the evening.
The territory is very large, but there are many buildings on it, which rise like high-rise buildings in the city. The whole space is occupied, there are no green corners and flowers, almost only palm trees are stumbled upon here and there. The bridge is cute, but does not fit well into the interior. And yet – there are no mountains, which sometimes so decorate the view from the window. In short, Lara’s design does not make a special impression. But everything is clean, shiny, the paint has not peeled off anywhere. The service, of course, is at a high level, and the price tag is more or less. But if it weren’t for these factors, I’d rather buy another ticket.”
Room stock
In eight 9-storey buildings there are 896 comfortable rooms of the following types:
- Double economy 22 m2 with one double or two single beds.
- Standard double 22 m2 with double bed.
- Family deluxe 36 m2 with two single beds and one double bed.
- Family Elite 50 m2 for 6 people. Two bedrooms with one double bed and two single beds, and in the living room a sofa bed.
- There are 8 rooms for disabled guests.
Everywhere there is a flat screen TV with satellite channels, an international telephone, air conditioning, a separate bathroom with a hairdryer and a closed shower. Flooring – laminate. It offers visitors always fresh bed linen and towels, changed daily, toiletries and slippers. Safe and minibar for a fee.
In standard rooms there are no balconies (except for rooms for the disabled).
Olga, Kazan: “The rooms are clean, comfortable, bedspreads and curtains nice blue shade. We were in a family room, so it seemed spacious and the balcony was large. Cleaned clean, towels were fresh every day. Audibility is really too strong, in such rooms it would be desirable to make sound insulation better. And yet – it is difficult to adjust the temperature of the water – then hot, then cold. The staff is very polite, no one has heard a complaint that someone was rude or ignored the request.
In general, we liked it here, but a large number of people, bustle, tables in the restaurant are often not enough, as well as sunbeds – this, of course, is a minus.
By the way, there are two elevators in the buildings, but they work very slowly, because there are many floors, this is a constant wait. We were already walking downstairs. Overall, the impression is good, but still not ideal. Saves only a great sea, delicious food and plenty of entertainment. “
Infrastructure
The extensive property, occupying 35,000 m2, has everything you need for a comfortable stay of tourists. In the central part there are 4 pools without heating, two of which are common (950 m2 and 450 m2), one for children (135 m2), and one is designed for those who roll down from water slides. There are 4 of them, and they form a real mini-water park.

In the SPA somehow not very – it is only necessary to go, immediately impose paid services. Took a massage and were dissatisfied. And the disadvantage is that in the local shopping center do not take bank cards. But who will exchange dollars for liras? It’s uncomfortable. There’s no such thing elsewhere.”
Food
The main meals, consisting of Turkish, European and international cuisine, are served in the main restaurant and bistro. The first breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00, lunch from 12:30 to 14:00, dinner from 18:30 to 21:00. A second breakfast is served at 10:00 in the bistro. During the day, snacks and ice cream are served on the beach, by the pool in the buffet and in the bistro.

Sea and beach
A beautiful spacious beach is 200 m from the Grand Park across the street. Those who wish can take a ride to it on the shuttle. Bathers have showers, toilets, an umbrella and sun loungers with mattresses. There is also a snack bar serving booze, light snacks and ice cream.
The coastline is wide, sandy, the entry into the sea is convenient for children and adults. It is possible to rent equipment for water sports and book diving lessons.
