Must see, if you like the nature. If you do the crocodile lake trail - be aware of lots of sand leeches - leech socks from your hotel are highly recommended. Rescue center is OK-ish, but they moved out all the bears to separate facility, where tourists are not allowed, but there are plenty of animals anyways (monkeys, birds, reptiles). Rapids are ok-ish too (though, I guess depends on the season and rain situation). Be aware, that there are snakes on the National Park territory - exercise caution and look before your feet. During jeep night safari you will probably meet deers, porcupines, boars, few small birds, mousedeers.

Cat tien national park for sure is a must see for nature...
Cat tien national park for sure is a must see for nature lovers. The forest itself is very impressive, full of life and wild animals. We saw there more than 50 species of birds, crocodiles, pangolins, different deers, giant lizards, cobras, gibbons and many interesting insects.

Remember it's the Jungle hot and high humidity. The park accross the way a gem. Need a few days to walk and explore. They have leech socks to rent if it rains and yes you need them but no problems they are small suckers. They stay to shoes and leech socks. Fun trips through real jungles!

I absolutely love Cat Tien.
I absolutely love Cat Tien. As soon as I am able to travel, I will be back. It has amazing wildlife, including crocodiles, clouded leopards, pangolins, birds, snakes, monitor lizards, monkeys, etc. If you're in to nature and wildlife, I wouldn't miss this park.

The Bears Rescue Center is worth to visit and we were lucky...
The Bears Rescue Center is worth to visit and we were lucky enough to see the Gibbons (once released into the wild ) moving through the canopy and singing to get her with the Gibbons in the cages. Our boat ride on the river in the late afternoon was beautiful and we watched a lot of birds there. Only the night Safari, provided by Hotel in the Nationalpark, is not worth to do. You sit on a truck together with about 20 other tourists. The truck is moving much too fast for animal watching at night and you bite a lot of dust. The only animal you see for sure are some Sambar-Deer. We were lucky to have two givets as well close to the road, but only the first row on the truck could really get a good look on them, because these people were standing up so that the others could not see much. If you everything did a Night Safari anywhere in the World, you will be disappointed about this Tour.
The place is nice, you get lots of fruit for free with food, the rooms are spacious and aircon works well. The detting is very beautiful, there is plenty of hot water, and the beds are hard but in my opinion in a very confortable way (my back felt great!). The food they cook is tasty and suitable for vegetarians. The family who owns it is very sweet! It is literally a 2min walk to the ferry for visiting the trails of the national park!
Great place 5 mins from the ferry to the national park. The owner was absolutely great, she helped us with everything - from booking a car to pick us up from the train station, booking the bus back to Saigon and booking us on the gibbon trek, which was one of the highlights of our trip! Fruit from the garden was delicious, the rooms were perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would come back here anytime!
Our terrace was fantastic - great views of the river, and shade! We could hear singing gibbons in the morning (and sometimes, at night, too). It's a 3-4 min. walk to the national park entrance. Water cooler/dispenser in the room - no need to buy water. Excellent restaurant (at Green Bamboo) + very helpful staff: we booked an early morning boat tour with them which was a true highlight.
The hostel lady was really kind and she was a great help to me. She went the extra mile to help me to find my connecting bus to cat tien national park as i couldn't read vietnamese.
The facilities were great and the food she made were sumptuous. Overall, this hostel is a great place for a homestay and i would recommend it to other people visiting cat tien national park.
The staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, the home-cooked food was delicious, and the river view (from the armchair/hammocks) was excellent. The rainforest tours were fascinating and it was well worth taking mountain bikes to explore the forest ourselves. The staff were able to advise on our travel to and from Cat Tien which was incredibly helpful.
Great place with a lovely DIY charm! You feel like so much effort has been put into making it feel special.
Located next to the river and just a minute's walk from the entrance to the national park, it makes for a perfect home base to go on some of the various tours there.
The staff is super-friendly and helpful, the restaurant is nice and cozy.
