This unique Crete holiday destination (OnlyAdults, 21+) consists of 4 semi-detached studios for 2, and a large, heated communal swimming pool with lounge-bar. Moreover, there is a villa with two suites for 2 or 4, with private heated pool. The resort is available for group rental (8 - 12 persons) too. The entire complex is very spacious, so privacy and rest are guaranteed both around the rooms and around the swimming pool. To get an impression of its beauty: see our '2020 Galini Breeze' video on YouTube or on our website. It is just 5 tot 10 minutes to beach and village by foot. Each room has sliding doors to its shady terrace, and external stairs to a private roof deck, ideal for gazing at the stars at night… Of course, all units are equipped with air condition units and a practical kitchenette. Finally, a separate toilet and a bathroom with walk-in shower. In particular we warmly welcome guest who highly appreciate rest and privacy, combined with a certain level of luxury and service in a great surroundings. Hence, we adopted the popular OnlyAdults (21+) formula.
We are the owners, Marc and Monique Hinfelaar (both born in 1962, The Netherlands). In summer we live and work here in Agia Galini; in winter time we live in Amsterdam. Our two grownup kids both are studying and working in The Netherlands. Greece has always been our favorite holiday destination, and in April 2014 the quest for a suitable plot of land finally ended on this hill near Agia Galini. We took 3 years for architecture and construction, and opened early 2017. This location offered the ideal combination of quietness, loveliness and liveliness we were looking for to create our concept ‘Galini Breeze’. Together with our team of property managers, Serhat and Hamza, we love to take care of all holiday wishes for our guests. We value high level holiday making, hospitality, cleanness and safety. Moreover, we care for a sustainable environment, so we collect rain water in winter, all hot water is solar heated, and we built a small photo voltaic sun park on the top of our plot, to produce 100% of our annual electrical power consumption.
In Galini Breeze we cherish an upscale concept of hospitality and service. Of course, hospitality means we care for daily cleaning of the studios and towel change; we replace bed linen every 3- 4 days. For the studios, at the bottom end of the complex a large communal heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi is situated. This offers a nice sun terrace and abundant shade as well. The villa has a private pool. Bath towels are provided for free . In the relaxed lounge-bar our guests can serve themselves from an honor bar with cool drinks and coffee, if we are not in. Late afternoon on Monday and Thursday, we like to offer you a drink and some snacks. Guests can meet each other to swap stories or suggestions. Would you like to hear our touristic tips, for example on diving courses, special archaeological sites and unlisted excavations in the area? Or would you be interested in a mountain bike trip to a goat farm in the mountains or just like spectacular gorge hiking tracks? Then we will be happy to inform you anytime.
