We loved it here-didnt want to come home! The villa is amazing. Just brilliant with everything you need. Facilities great. Very clean. We used the BBQ which was excellent. Pool small but perfect for me....as I am not a pool lover. Good size to cool down in.
The hosts were so kind with gifts, food and drinks. The villa is located just under 1km from the centre of the village of Kavros. The walk down the hill to centre is nice.....harder coming back up! Good tavernas, shops and supermarkets. Ideal for families. The villa was far enough away from centre to be in a quiet location and close enough to reach the centre by foot. We had a car and visit to Lake Kournas a must! Want to go back as soon as we can! Beach excellent too and about 1km away.

Lovely location with a good mix of locals and tourists.
Lovely location with a good mix of locals and tourists. Plenty of tavernas and bars to choose from with fabulous food and drink available. There are facilities for small children around the village and the long beach has activities most of the day. A river flows into the sea by the harbour creating beautiful vistas and an excellent location to watch the sunset.

LaMer, Really high quality hotel with everything you need with a super short distance between the
room, pool and beach.
The only downside is that is about 1 hour ride to the central city chania, so if you want to mainly be in the hotel to relax it is not an issue, otherwise you probably should rent a car to reach the adject cities.
There is also a market area in like a 10 minutes walk that offers great greek food(better than the hotel in my opinion)

a quite small village but with plenty of tavernas and bars to chose from we stayed for two weeks and did not try all the tavernas. Beautiful beaches but quite cold water due to the two rivers that run into the bay. Best cocktails at Angels bar.

It is a small town close to everything - 40m to Chania, 20m to Rethymno, even with busses it's reliable transfer. City is easily walkable on foot. Driving in the city is possible, although be very careful in the late evening as everyone is outside. Also finding a parking spot in the late evening can be a challenge, because most visitors staying in hotels east from the city come here for a dinner.
City center is small, but lively with huge variety of restarants, vast majority with delicios food and great service. Almost everyone speaks english, at least to some extent, and locals are extremely friendly and helpful and there are several supermarkets so furfil your needs.
Beach is very long, so you'll always find the right place for you.

The scenery around the city and its location make it ideal.
The scenery around the city and its location make it ideal. The food in the city is quite good but better in the surrounding areas. The beaches around are also a thing to explore. Many things also to do in the premises of the city.
The rooms were verly comfortable and clean. We found everything what we wanted. Our week-long stay was exceptionally pleasant. Very friendly and helpful staff. We experienced the family atmosphere prevailing at the property. The hotel is located in a not very urbanized area, but just in front of the hotel there is a bus stop where you can quickly get to both Rethymnon and Chania. Access to the beach through the neighboring street takes about 5-6 minutes. The center of the village with stores and restaurants is a 15-minute walk away.
A great family run hotel overlooking the port at Georgioupolis. Modern, light, well equipped & comfortable rooms with air conditioning included for a good night’s sleep in the hot Summer weather. Everything was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay & the owners were really friendly. Their adjacent Taverna, Nostos is excellent too, with very good service & really nice food. It’s well worth a visit for anyone staying in Georgioupolis.
The hotel was spotless and great value for money. Location was great just a very short walk to the beach, bars, restaurants and a supermarket. The staff could not of been friendlier. Everyone was smiling and welcoming. The roof top bar was a great place to sit and relax. The pool is spotlessly clean.
Parking was very easy, right outside the property.
Would 100% recommend this hotel and will definitely be booking again.
Fantastic service. It is rare to meet such nice, friendly and friendly people as the employees of this hotel. They created a great atmosphere. They made our holidays an unforgettable experience. Hotel very elegant exclusive design. designed in such a way that despite the large number of guests, everyone had peace, space and comfort. Excellent food. A wonderful place!!!
THANK YOU!
Room and shower are quite big and spacious. Bed was comfortable. We stayed in a sea view room and it was very good. Our room was very close to the beach. They provide beach towels and you can change them regularly, which is a plus. Beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas and included in all inclusive. Air conditioning in the room is working perfectly.
Great hotel in a silent area of Crete. If you search silence it’s the perfect place for you. The hotel has own beach area which is clean and free of charge. The management went above and beyond to fulfil our needs! Felt like a queen.. I adore it! Wish we could stay longer but promise to be bank! Incredible design and kindest staff, thank you all!!
Villa Galini is the best budget hotel in the Georgioupoli area. The hotel is clean, quite and only a few minutes drive from some of the best beachs in Crete. The owner, Stifis, is exceptional, very friendly and always ready to offer you a coffee. I will be back in Crete next year and this will be my first choice to stay.
Great small hotel with a swimming pool. Big comfy rooms with a nice balcony. Clean and well taken care of. Our daughter especially enjoyed the swimming pool which was the main reason we booked it. No complaints whatsoever.
Location is ideal if you have a car as the property is a little bit out of the way.
Nice and cosy hotel, good location, not far from the sea. There are lots of restaurants nearby. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. We had a big terrace with a great city view. I forgot my stuff and the woman was so kind to put them in the place where I could take them and go.
A nice quiet location, but also very close to the centre of Georgioupolis
(5/10 minutes walk). The main bus stops just around the corner.
The apartment was very clean and spacious. We would highly recommend a stay here.
Great hotel on the good position. Very clean, the staff is very nice and polite. The Manager is great guy who works and loves his job. We miss this place. Looking forward to seeing all soon.
its really good hotel the beach was great , staff so friendly and anything you ask for they do their maximum to do it , food is great and tasty so fresh also
Looks nice at first glance, not amazing beach but will do for families. Staff greats in german, wich is not very nice, just because the hotel is in Greece.
