It is in strategic position, central to reach beautyful beaches on the east and on the west of the village within 30 min-1 hour by car. It is also a small pictoresque and typical greekvillage with a small harbour, full of shop, markets, restaurants and services, but very quiet as well

A very nice village by the sea. Lots of options for eating out including tavernas at the next beach to the east. Ferry service from the harbour and tour boats for fishing a sightseeing. One of our favourite locations on Crete.

After coming from Paleochora, I’m afraid Agia Galini was a huge disappointment. It looks tired and run down and the beach is less than spectacular. The view of the water from any restaurant is marred by the rather grotesque breakwater. I would advise folks to stay in Spili. A much prettier town.KatherineCanada - 10Scored 10

Great room and views. Breakfast was a disappointment. According to what people said it was overcrowded. No fresh fruit except oranges.. this should be better for a four star hotel. Very friendly staff. No special treats except a simple water when we arrived as welcome drink could be better.

It is located at the entrance to the city, from where you can easily reach the center of the town with restaurants, shops, coffee bars, etc. by foot. You can go down to the sea in 10 minutes by foot. Few parking spaces available in front of the property. Nice breakfast room and good choice for food. The lady at the reception was very kind and nice. Ready to help. Our room on 2nd floor had a big terrace. Air conditioning available. Safety deposit box available

The owner/operators, a mother and her daughters, are wonderfully helpful and friendly; the hotel is named after the late father of the family, whose portrait behind the reception desk well suits his name :-) Good parking, though steep at the end of the level street.

It is part of three hotels built at the slope of the hill well shielded from external noise, with lot of plants in between providing nice atmosphere. Rooms were recently renovated and cleaned on daily basis, all equipped with AC and having decent water pressure in bathroom. We've opted out of breakfast so cannot comment on that.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, a coffee machine makes excellent coffee, there is a washing machine, which is quite rare for apartments in Crete! The bedrooms with a bathroom are located on the second floor, they are not large, but for a family with 1 children - perfect!
