Beautiful location in Playa Coson - one of our favorite beaches.
The restaurant of the hotel was very good - one of the best we've eaten at during our vacation in Las Terranas.
The bar was also very cool - especially the bartender who was very friendly.
Our room (the villa) was nice and big. Overall, the view from the hotel on the beach is very nice.

We were very happy staying here! The owner was very helpful and friendly when we had to retrieve a forgotten passport from our previous hotel. The bed was pretty comfortable, nice size room with good A/C (not all rooms have that, but it was good to get.) Nice size bathroom too. The location is great - plenty of restaurants around and the beach is right across the street - you are there in about 1 minute. Good pool and lounge chairs as well.

Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, hotel was kept clean and it was a great location very centralized. One of the issues of the location is the noise coming from the main street in front of the hotel.

My husband and I spent nine nights at the Leeloo hotel and based on our experience we highly recommend it!
The Leeloo hotel offers a peaceful escape from the active town, while remaining a short walk to beaches and restaurants. The hotel's strategic location ensures a nice balance between tranquility and convenience.
The staff's exceptional service, from the owner, to Gabi, to the entire staff, is genuinely kind and caring. Our experience at the hotel became a memorable part of our vacation. Gabi, an absolute gem, answered every question and gave an abundance of great recommendations based on her local knowledge!
The kind staff and attention to cleanliness underscores a commitment to guest comfort.
There are five huts/casitas, a kitchen, and a pool.
The huts/casitas are a testament to thoughtful design, providing a unique and intimate lodging experience that doesn't compromise on modern necessities. The hut had everything we needed and we loved the sounds of nature at night while lying in bed!
The property layout and accommodations provide both privacy and opportunities to meet new people.
Each morning, we looked forward to fresh coffee, juice, and breakfast. Both breakfast and the pool area acted as a hub of communal interaction and fostered a sense of belonging among guests, further enhancing Leeloo's charm. It allowed us to meet and make new connections with travelers from other countries.
Going to dinner in the evenings, we felt safe walking to and from Leeloo. The property is gated, and we felt safe during our entire stay. We had a rental car and there was room for us to park on the property.
We walked all over town and along the beach, and I don’t think there is a better location to stay than Leeloo. The property itself is a little piece of relaxation! With its caring staff, inviting kitchen, and the relaxing pool area where you can chill after breakfast or unwind at the end of the day, our stay at Leeloo truly made our vacation.
This property is located at Playa Bonita and offers an outdoor restaurant on the beach with children’s playground nearby. The rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi.

The Saone Peninsula is the most pleasant part of DR.
The Saone Peninsula is the most pleasant part of DR. A large number of different beaches, so that everyone can find something suitable for themselves. Traffic in the city is chaotic, but perfectly manageable once you get used to it, both by car and motorbike. Pleasant sitting and sipping cocktails at the Colibri beach bar. You have a lot possibilities to eat, different restaurants, bars, or you grab smth on the street.

Ballenas beach was amazing for swimming, and great restaurants nearby . We stayed at a smaller condo/hotel close to the beach and were very happy. Feed the poor homeless dogs. The town itself is chaotic and noisy but Ballenas beach area was wonderful

My family and I often go to Las Terrenas where we enjoy the clean water and beach, the lush vegetation and the overall low key ambiance. We do long walks on the beach, surfing and we enjoy the excellent restaurants - Italian and French - in town. Terrenas is for the indépendant traveler who wants to discover other culture. There are also beautiful excursions avsilable: Los Haitises with their unique eco system, the hike to El limon waterfall and catamaran rides to other beaches! Waiting to go back!

Las Terrenas is a busy, small town filled with motorcycles,...
Las Terrenas is a busy, small town filled with motorcycles, ATV's and cars crowding the streets. Once you learn the direction (one way streets) quite manageable. Parking can be a problem in some places but the better restaurants have attendants to help you find a spot. The two large grocery stores have ample parking. A very good choice of nice, highly rated beachside restaurants. More casual dining experiences along the main downtown streets. Lots of French and especially Italian influence. KiiKii beach bar/restaurant sells POUTINE, as good as any in Quebec! Cheese locally made. Even found an outlet selling Beavertails!
Beaches are beautiful and you can park on most of them. Loud "Boom Box" music coming out of the cruising or parked cars and ATV's will make you smile! La joie de vivre is everywhere! Il Lemon waterfall is beautiful and worth the trip if you are able. Clave Verde Eco lodge up the mountain for a change of scenery and wonderful lunch.
Support the locals and buy something!!

The city of Las Terrenas isn't something special.
The city of Las Terrenas isn't something special. A touristic place crouded of cars and motorcycles. If you are coming from Europe the level is low. However there are some good spots (restaurants, bars, gift shops) that the service is good and upgrated. It has to be mentioned that those places owned by europeans.Mostly French.
The beaches around Las Terrenas are amazing. Like you see them at photos. White sand, waves and palm trees.
Zero points to El Limon. The place is amazing but the people close to it is a mess. So negative for the turism of the area. The government has to do something. It's so unsafe and they ask so much money to guide you there, even the official turist agents. If you have time to the country there are other places you can visit
Absolutely stunning location. Nice and quiet. Perfect for a getaway as a couple. The breakfast was amazing. It's also well located in las Terrenas on walking distance from the beach. Cool area as well with lots of cool bars and restaurants. For those who love good massages. We recommend booking one here if you have the time. They offer one hour massages for a very affordable price. Booking one as a couple is also possible. The massage was amazing as well.
First the over charge my credit card , not hot water on bathroom, the tv was down not cable service available no towels on the room I requested.the say the got parking for the car customers had to leave the car outside the property, my reservation was for 108.00 US dollar I was charge 111.82 I need booking. Com to make action regarding my case I feel that I should get I full refund for my stay for my that the worst place I stay on Dominican Republic.
I loved staying here! I loved being so close to the beach, it really made my trip to Las Terrenas very comfortable. The hosts are so cool but also relaxed, which made staying very comfortable. I liked being able to go in the natural pool and the beautiful garden and it was really a peaceful treat to stay here. Also some of the best wifi I had while in the Dominican Republic! I would definitely come back :) Such a beautiful, thoughtful space.
This has to be the best place in Las Terrenas. Mathias makes you feel so welcomed and his boutique hotel is simply amazing. The breakfasts that Mathias makes every morning is better than most 5 star hotels and it’s a big part of the experience when staying here. The design of the rooms, building and the pool was all done by Mathias and it’s stunning. We will definitely be back ! Thank you Mathias and Carmen.
I will not come here again....
Unfortunately bad experience at this hotel ..... Very expensive to what they have to offer
The hot tub at the balcony is not a jacuzzi, it is only a hot tub, and we were never able to use it, since the warm water was not enough to fill it up.
For the price and the fact they advertice it as 5 star, I would recommend you to find another place to stay.
we loved the property and the central location to everything , walkable to beach and restaurants but also tucked away so that it’s nice and quiet -away from the noise and hustle bustle. Such a cute little boutique hotel, great staff, they include a lovely freshly cooked breakfast everyday!
comfortable beds, complimentary Netflix and pool access right outside your balcony :)
My partner and I arrived on the first day when El Rincon de Abi transitioned to the new owners. We had a very good experience and nice talks with the new owners. They are very friendly and motivated and they have very ambitious and creative ideas to change the place. We look forward to going back to las Terrenas and visiting El Rincon de Abi in the future.
The owner kindly helped to surprise my wife for her birthday. She was very happy! This hotel really exceeded our expectations. All the surrounding area, room, breakfast was just perfect. The staff is very friendly too. If you are looking for something different and want to have a nice stay in Las Terrenas, we would highly recommend to choose Takuma Boutik!
Pool and the territory was super nice and the house in general - bed was very comfortable and spacious. the location was quiet (given that it was very close to city centre of Las Terrenas). quite far from the beach but was fine as we rented ATV (then it’s 5 min). had a kitchenette that was very useful. overall a great place to stay!
Great place for cheap travel. Its not far from beach locations. Stuff is nice, friendly, english speaking. The dogs bell in the night, but its Las Terrenas you know.
Kitchen small but cozy, it was ok for me to cook even. I didn't get from the first time how to use dominican dishes soap I'm sorry 😉
This hotel was great. The reception did everything to make you feel great. Wonderful place. The pools were good.
SPA - very good service.
I would definitely recommend the hotel. Clean and tidy.
Without this hotel, there would be nothing to do in Las Terrenas.
Everything was amazing, starting with the welcome cocktail. It’s a sustainable property which gave us peace of mind in the garbage ridden Dominican Republic. Good breakfast made to order with options you can add. Covid precautions are observed.
We had a really lovely stay at Leeloo Boutique Hotel.
The bungalows and the pool are beautiful and clean. The location is awesome and Gabi, the manager of the hotel, gave us a lot of tips for Las Terrenas.
Also, the breakfast was delicious.
Great location to enjoy with a group. Nice pool and outside area. In a few minutes you drive to the center of las Terrenas. Communication with the host was really good.
We would definitely recommend it!
There’s no better location for this price. You’re 1 minute from the beach, with 2 of the best restaurants in town and a smoothie shop just next door. Will stay here again if I’m ever in las terrenas.
This is a brand new hotel and the management went out of their way to provide me with whatever I requested. They are trying very hard to make this hotel a success. I wish them well.
The hotel has been preserved as we remember it from 7 years ago. It is clean and well maintained.
The maids did their job perfectly and were always smiling and responsive.
I celebrate my wedding here and everything was perfect!
We had an amazing room and the service was great.
I have been before in that hotel and I loved it.
