The food was great. The conditions in the rooms were very poor. Had to go to the front desk numerous times throughout my stay. The phone in the rooms or not working. The power Hotel went off numerous times and by the time they're generator would kick in we had to wait. We had to wait hours for towels because they didn't have enough clean ones. No shampoo no soap in the rooms.

The area is very noisy. A lot of traffic on the road.
The area is very noisy. A lot of traffic on the road. I did not feel safe and therefore did not explore the area. We stopped over one night and it was one night too long.Only encountered one person who spoke English and therefore it was very difficult to communicate with the locals.Hence your requests were dismissed because they do not understand what you are asking. Even with google translate it was quite a challenge.

Bo a chica has a nice and very vivid atmosphere very close...
Bo a chica has a nice and very vivid atmosphere very close to the airport and only 30 min from santo domingo center. You can tell it is a place where people living in the capital like to come to enjoy their week end. Unfortunately most people to not seem to care about littering resulting in the beach being full of litter. Another disturbing aspect is how everything there seems to be linked to prostitution justice anywhere else in coastal dominican republic when not in a big resort with a private beach.

Beach:
Shipyards opposite the beach.
Beach:
Shipyards opposite the beach.
Sand is grey and hard, not nice at all, and there is no privacy.
You can walk a 100 m but still, the water is to the knees. Also, the beach is packed with restaurants and bars with very loud music, and prices are very high for tourists.
Many locals are coming here as well so beach is too crowded and it is dirty everywhere, and I would never recommend it.
Surrounding area is dirty and we did not feel safe walking around, stayed most of the time inside the hotel area.
Prices in the restaurants are very high, we paid 1300 Pesos (around 25$ for 2 dishes, one fish and one chicken with potato, on a square right at the very noisy street, with plastic tables and chairs, served on plastic plates and cutlery. Dishes were tasty but not worth the price.
Definitely not a place we would ever chose to come back to.

Boca Chica shows the essence of Dominican Republic.
Boca Chica shows the essence of Dominican Republic. Narrow streets, terrible traffic, unplanned lifestyle and unfortunately very poor towns. Beaches are so nice but local bars are to pushy. It is not a place where you can take a relaxing vacation at all. Unfortunately the local tourist offer is not friendly, even there is a sensation of scaming style all the time, either in restaurants, bars, or even Uber.
First of all, like many who wrote, we think the owner Camelia is super friendly and helpful. She was very welcoming and also arranged a taxi to the airport for us. The food is delicious at the cafe and the chef made us an amazing dinner the night before we left. There's a nice expat community that hangs out and stays at the hotel that are very friendly. The room is clean and sufficient for the one night we stayed to catch a flight the next day, and for Boca Chica, it was a quieter spot.
relatively fair price; close to the airport for overnight stay; safely closed from the public to avoid potential criminal acts so typical for Dominican Republic; the man living there was nice although not speaking English; cleanliness was OK; parking inside possible; friendly cat in the house :-)
This place is really beautiful and well located, beau the beach and the airport las americas too (20m). The room is well equiped and the breakfast delicious. Staff here is very friendly. I recommend getting this place and will come back for my next trip in Dominican Republic.
The hotel is a short drive from the airport. Since we arrived 2am in the middle of night, we needed something that was close. The hosts were willing to let us in at this hour (which is never a given) and the rooms were well prepared. The breakfast was good and staff friendly.
Absolutely perfect location on the sand of Boca Chica. Steps away from crystal clear water hotel rolling stone is one of the more unique places I have stayed. Great staff and environment I definitely recommend this location if you want to experience something new!
Very clean. Nicely designed hotel. Some private parking spaces. Located on the main street across the beach. Many locals and street food, cafes. You feel safe in the hotel. The terrace pool is nice and give a decent overview of the area.
Luke everything, nothing as what it seems im Boca chica. No WiFi, no cable. Fridge barely worked. Staff spoke lil English. Didn’t really care for guests. I would stay at many other places before here.
Pool and restaurant are very nice. Rooms are modern and well designed. The beds are very confortable. Great value for the money. This is the newest hotel in Boca Chica.
