Review of The Laguna Luxury Collection Resort & Spa 5* Bali

The Laguna Luxury Collection Resort & Spa on the Indonesian island of Bali is one of the most luxurious resorts I have had the pleasure of staying in. Everything is at the highest level here. You know exactly what you’re paying an exorbitant price for. This hotel features a natural lagoon, which is the main attraction. This is a huge and beautiful resort with seven swimming pools, two restaurants. One overlooking the beach and the other with a natural lagoon.

Very nice and clean rooms with full service. There is also a grocery and gift shop on site, as well as a well-equipped gym (included in the room rate) and a spa. That’s all we need to fully relax on a paradise island. See authentic and raw photos and videos from my stay in the lagoon, Bali.

Hotel Rooms

Rooms are clean and spacious. They are equipped with very stylish wooden furniture. The floors are also lined with wood. Featuring a balcony, all air-conditioned rooms come with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. If you ask for a room on the ground floor with direct access to the lagoon, you will get a room with a direct descent to the lagoon from the balcony. It’s a very interesting experience to swim in the lagoon every morning and straight out of your room. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort, which also works well on the beach. Service at the highest level, in each room there is a round-the-clock personal butler. Free coffee, tea, water and fruit in every room. Rooms are cleaned twice a day. If you want to maintain privacy, I recommend hanging a sign on the door “Do Not Disturb”.

Food

I especially recommend using the grill located at arwana’s second restaurant overlooking the beach. For 400,000 Indonesian rupiah (€22), we have an unlimited buffet with fresh grilled dishes prepared in front of our eyes by three chefs. We can also choose the daytime version, which serves seafood. If you decide to eat outside of a restaurant – overlooking the beach – you have to be very careful because the ubiquitous and very bold squirrels jump from the trees, shamelessly stealing food.

When buying a hotel offer on one of the booking sites, for example, trivago, booking, it is worth choosing the option without breakfast, because you can use the unlimited buffet on the spot, adding it to our bill for 250,000 IDR (15 euros) per person, and when comparing the offers with breakfast on the Internet, the option on the spot is more profitable. When it comes to breakfasts, they are very tasty and original, for example, an unlimited amount of sushi. We also have three bars: Kul Kul – located by the pool, Cascade and Sapphire Lagoon, which offer cocktails and light snacks.

Location

The resort is surrounded by tropical landscaped gardens and has 7 lagoon-shaped swimming pools. The resort is a 5-minute drive from the Bali Collection. The popular Uluwatu Temple is a 20-minute drive away. The same time is required to get to the airport.
