The ski resort in Kabardino-Balkaria is located on the territory of the Elbrus National Park. It combines two main ski areas – Mount Cheget with the valley of the same name and Elbrus with infrastructure in the Azau valley. Both parts have a cable car and several lifts to the slopes.
