Not far from Bukovel is the highest mountain resort of Ukraine – Dragobrat. It is surrounded by three peaks – Stog, Gendarme and Bliznitsa. The ridge is shaped like a horseshoe. Snow on them is held from November to May. The height difference is 500 m. One blue, 3 black and 5 red tracks are laid. Ski slopes are served by 10 lifts: 2 rope tows and 8 chairlifts. Hotels are presented in the form of 2 large complexes and several guest houses.
How to get there and what to see?
The resort is located in the Transcarpathian region, Rakhiv district. Two mountain roads lead to the village. Dragobrat is located at an altitude of 1707 meters above sea level. The best option is to get to the village of Yasinya and from there order a transfer to your hotel. Many hotels meet and see off their guests. The service must be agreed in advance, as the roads are in poor condition. Only SUVs are used for travel.
The main attraction of the resort is its nature. You can come here in the summer in order to see:
- Kuzia Reserve;
- Svidovetsky array;
- Dragobratsky waterfall;
- mountain lake Ivor.
Restaurants of the village specialize in dishes of Ukrainian, European, Transcarpathian cuisine. On the territory there is a large number of kebabs, eateries, cafes. There will be no problems with nutrition.
Where to stay?
The owners tried to open their mini-hotels near the lifts. The work of transport is not established and take into account this circumstance, going to the resort with children, it is simply necessary.
Yantry
Authentic Transcarpathian tower-tower is located next to the Oaza lift. Two, three, four local, common female and male roomsare prepared for the reception of guests. The owners dream that guests feel at home here. They have prepared a children’s playground, a games room, free parking, barbecue areas and barbecue facilities. The owners are great friends of four-legged pets. Payment is not charged for their accommodation. The hotel has a rule – everyone must take off their shoes at the entrance to the building. Guests walk around the house barefoot or slippers. Warm floors and carpets create additional comfort. You will have to take care of nutrition yourself. There are no tea and coffee makers in the rooms, there is no shared kitchen. Nearby there is a café serving ready-made food and drinks.

The estate is located in a picturesque corner of the Carpathians. 100 meters from the entrance is the ski school Oaza with the same name lift. Guests are waiting for double and triple rooms,as well as two-room suites in the attic. At their service: transfer organization, ski and freeride tours, horseback riding, trekking, paintball, ATV racing. There is a dining room. With meals, the price of accommodation is negotiable. All details must be discussed with the administration in advance.

Peak Hotel
This hotel is located at the highest point of Dragobrat village. The fund includes two, three-bed, family rooms, suites and apartments. Modern design and European service makes this place popular among tourists and skiers. Karpatska Chaika Ski Lift is 100 metres from the complex. After sports, guests can visit the sauna (for a fee), play table tennis. A continental breakfast is served in the morning and the restaurant serves à la carte European cuisine all day.

Vershina is another modern hotel with comfortable rooms and its own bar. Guests are offered two, three local, family and luxury rooms. The Top of the Carpathians lift is just 30 metres away. Ski equipment is stored in separate lockers, which are assigned to each room. The five-storey building is equipped with an elevator. Breakfast is served in the morning. There is no charge for parking.

The three-storey mini-hotel is located 200 meters from the Karpatska Chaika ski lift. For accommodation guests are offered two, three, four local, family rooms. In the hallway there is a place for ski equipment. There is also a common kettle, sugar and bags. There is a common lounge. There is a sauna (to be paid separately). There are billiards and ping pong tables. There is no parking.

The property is 300 metres from the Ski lift ticket -20%. The conditions fully meet the needs of skiers. There are single studios, superior double and family rooms. The on-site restaurant serves an à la carte menu and breakfast is served in the morning. Dragobrat hotels are recruiting multilingual staff. Basically, it is English and Russian. The staff at the Oaza reception are also fluent in Polish and Czech. In summer, it offers a seasonal swimming pool, a children’s playground on the street, and barbecue areas.

The modern five-storey hotel is located 300 meters from two ski lifts. Double and family rooms are available to accommodate guests. Breakfast and dinner are included. “Good location. It is convenient that there is a private rental, but it is difficult to drag with skis and in ski boots 250 meters to the lift. It is very good that half board is offered. This hotel has been assigned a comfort level of 3 stars. It has a restaurant, bar, terrace, spa with swimming pool and vat. Chair lift “Chaika” is located 100 meters from the house. The new hotel positions itself as a center of family active recreation. There are 10 double rooms and 7 family rooms. Two meals a day are included in the price. Equipped with a children’s playroom, there are board games, tennis table. At the rental point you can rent snowboards, skis, scooters, walkie-talkies for long-distance communication, Gopro cameras, equipment for mountain hiking (tents, sleeping bags, pots, burners, etc.). You can come here with pets. Private parking is available free of charge. Near the hotel there are cafes and restaurants, including the famous Koliba “U Stepana”. Local cuisine is distinguished by large portions and homemade taste.
