The year-round ski resort of Paljakka is located in the central part of Finland. The nearest airport is Kayani. The distance is 70 km. Experienced tourists claim that it is here that the cleanest snow falls. The season begins in November and lasts until April. The rest of the time the tracks are supported by artificial snow cover. The resort has its own peculiarity – this is a toboggan track with a length of 1200 m. Learning to ride on Finnish sledges is held here.

Hotel Paljakka

The hotel is located in an area remote from civilization. Oulu is a 2-hour drive away. To some, the hotel seems old-fashioned, and entertainment is not fun. If someone has a desire to go deep into the Finnish forests, then this place will be an excellent option.

The apartment is located in Kotila on the shores of a forest lake. The complex is a two-storey wooden houses with balconies and a separate exit from each room. The interior is decorated with wood, which is typical for Finnish village houses. The apartment has a sauna, a shared kitchen, a living room, a dining room and 3-4 bedrooms. Free parking is available on site. There is a grill and barbecue area. The picturesque surroundings have a leisurely rest. The resort is at a decent distance from the nearest airport in Kayani (65-77 km). All paljakka hotels provide a shuttle service for an additional fee.
Paljakka Villas
Comfortable villa with well-equipped rooms welcomes guests all year round. It offers deluxe and standard apartments with a sauna. The price tag is affordable. To the central part of the resort – 3 and a half kilometers. A café and a restaurant can be enjoyed in the surrounding area. A fitness centre is available on site. Service is available at an additional cost. The staff speaks several languages. Trails for hiking and cycling diverge from the villa, and a ski trail is laid here in winter.
